I sat directly facing the husband, nvm lah, at least next time I can indentify u easier in kepong tea shops.

Their tea pot quite tempting, but I only bought the Factory one one. Tacha sell quality product but quality comes with price.

I think it is ridiculous of them trying to rip off the local tea community. Not a very smart thing to do...

Malaysians are poor consumers who do not know how to exercise their rights as consumers.

1970s expired red tea - Not cheap for an expired tea. Taste is not that bad. Hard to describe...

1970s Doudeli Liubao - The old, woody, herbal taste is superb. This tea is very clean, don't have the typical wet stored taste for liubao. Lasted many brew. At the 10+ brew onward when it is light, it taste like aged liuan too.


We then tried the 2003 version of this. 1 word = Yuck. Price difference about 15x

I bought mine at many places in KL/PJ, but mostly I hangout in Jln Kepong area. PM me if you want to hangout, I can intro you to the teashops.

But your cup all powerful leh... drink plain water also got the age feeling leh   

Then a senior pointed me to a lot of old Menghai/Dayi back and asked me to see for myself... are these all fakes?


I was quite convinced already that I would buy more regardless real/fake, I liked the taste and will buy it for drinking. Before I make the purchase I asked my seniors, what other tea with the pink price tag that has the same kind of strong camphor taste. After some thoughts, they couldn't come up with the next best.

So finally, I went and bought 1 toong, which add up to total of 10 (unopened) + 1 (opened) pieces.

I will buy some more of this progressively whenever I have more funds. This is not the end...
