looks like tottenham is going to be the giant killer instead.

They played so well showing why they deserved top 4 spot. Still i prefer spuds to be top 4 rather than ManCity.

Harry Redknapp does wonderful stuff

Rodallega coming to Arsenal everyone?
and Lyon are currently eyeing move for Eduardo for 8mil
i've been wathing wigan playing for sometimes and admire him
he can dribble past defender and and shoot very well
if we can sell eduardo, i dont mind getting him as backup, or for rotation,
*
How about ask Lyon trade Lloris for Eduardo and we give them extra 8mil lol

Btw good luck Arsenal. Very unusual team rclxub.gif

Added on April 18, 2010, 8:29 pmMeanwhile, Lukasz Fabianski starts in goal ahead of Manuel Almunia for Arsenal. Almunia is suffering with a wrist injury.

explained why

I thought the defend did really well against a really weak side i must say.

Campbell did show some super speed burst just now lol.

And Walcott is like playing alone rather haha.

Should bring Shay Given in since ManCity wants Buffon.

Arsenal worst ever performance guided by Campbell and the joke Silvestre.

Bendtner was clueless in the game. Instead of taking Sagna out, Wenger took Walcott out. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Disaster season again

Samir Nasri backs Chamakh pursuit

Samir Nasri believes Marouane Chamakh will be a perfect fit for Arsenal if, as expected, the Bordeaux striker joins the club on a free transfer this summer.

Marouane Chamakh is one of the best strikers in Ligue 1

Chamakh is a player repeatedly mentioned as a likely Arsenal target and Arsene Wenger gave further credence to rumours of a Bosman move when saying last week the Morocco international has a "good chance" of joining the club.

Nasri, who played against Chamakh at his previous club Marseille, would welcome the addition of a player who has scored 13 goals in 34 games in Ligue 1 this season but is out of contract in the summer.

"It would be a great signing for us," Nasri told Arsenal's official magazine. "He is a player that I really like.

"Chamakh plays for the team, gives everything and works very hard. He has big potential and would fit perfectly in our team."

Nasri has also addressed criticism of Arsenal following their failure to maintain their title challenge until the end of the season.

Back-to-back defeats at the hands of Tottenham and Wigan have curtailed Arsenal's ambitions, meaning Arsene Wenger will suffer a fifth successive season without winning silverware.

But Nasri feels Arsenal deserve recognition for the prudent way in which they have built their squad and believes only a crippling run of injuries to key players has prevented the Gunners from securing a trophy this season.

"It is annoying. The work we do is not getting the credit it deserves because we are not winning silverware," Nasri said. "It is unfair because I think we have more merit as a club than those who have built their teams with millions of pounds whereas Arsenal have brought in young footballers, who have come here to play a certain kind of football and who have developed.

"This season had proved that we have everything to compete and we have learnt so much. I am hoping that our squad will stay unchanged because we are really good and with a year more experience, we can achieve some great things next season.

"Injuries happen and it is part of football, but I think if we had not had those injuries, we would be top of the Premier League and still in the Champions League.

"Apart from Arsenal, I do not know a team playing without five of its best players in the quarter-final of the Champions League like we did against Barcelona and to be in such a high position in the league. Our injuries are always serious. They are not small muscular problems, and that gives more credit to our season."

SEE LA WHAT NASRI SAY. U SAY ARSENAL LOUSY LA. WIN LA u all

V.Persie was the closest to score though.

Sadly to see Given stretcher out. Lucky his country is not in WC or he will be sorely miss.

QUOTE(DWExia @ May 3 2010, 01:16 PM)
yeah. the problem with arsenal was there is no plan B.

Wenger is too stubborn to change the formation from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2.

When V persie got injured, he could've change back the formation to 4-4-2 and play Eduardo and Bendtner up front, just like previously when VP got injured, eduardo and adabayar played up front.

If bendtner play alone without VP, it should be more of a 4-5-1.

Just my 2cents.

Bendtner was also injured when RvP got injured. Eduardo is always in and out the injury room. Now leaves Arshavin spear heading alone.

Don't remember anything don't talk rclxub.gif

Arsenal 37 72
Tottenham Hotspur 36 67
Manchester City 36 66

Don' worry 3rd place is secure

They still have to play each other.

And Fabianski did great yesterday. He save a 1 v 1 situation, lots of pressure under corner kick but the 2nd goal prove he is not strong enough and it could actually be a foul on him but it will be hard without 5th officials in-game.

Not Diaby fault, but more like the attacking players. No creativity at all. Walcott and Vela looks the same only. RvP miss a few chances but what do u expect from a player out for half a year. Nasri for me was disappointing from the moment after 5-0 game against Porto.

Mannone during early of the season denied Fulham from scoring and giving Arsenal a hard fought 1-0 win. I think he deserved to play.

Pretty decent idea to loan Wilshere again for at least 6 months next season. By the end of 6 months when he return to Arsenal sure got space for him since that is the moment Arsenal injury strikes

"I have always loved Arsenal's football. I know I will have to adapt, but I have experience of playing the short passing game from working with Yoann Gourcuff." - Chamakh

I think there is a huge meaning with this word hmm.gif

The problem now is good GK are over-over price no thanks to some club.

In the reserved team, he sees 2 wonderful young gk so if he bought a good gk they won't have a chance to play for a very long time unless something bad happen. That also means AW will see 2 good gk sold to other clubs.

This is definitely a dilemma for AW now.
