I'm always chill, else few of them would be serving their holidays by now. Sometimes I don't really mind slight OT, but when things start to get too OT and the obvious ones still making themselves obvious, I got no choice especially when some of them start sending PM to complain to me. smile.gif

I wonder, who complained... hmm.gif

1st May, 2010 - Learning to shoot horses, here're my early attempts.
Still do not know which angles etc best for shooting horses.

C&C appreciated.

Photo #1 - "Tia Maria" the name. The only Appaloosa (ie breed) horse in Sabah (to the best of my knowledge)

Photo #2 - "Duchess", she's a pure Thoroughbred

35G is not worth to get, A850 + Siggy 50mm f1.4 is a better combo as a walkabout lens. smile.gif
*

I would choose 35mm G and A700 over A850 + Sigma 50F1.4 (if money is not a question la... biggrin.gif )
The 35mm is a G lens which optically ( I presume ) will be much superior than the Sigma 50F1.4
In terms of focal length, 35mm on APS-C is ~ 50mm on Full Frame A850.

Banzai_san : You're so wrong. Although the 35mm f1.4G is a "G" lens. It's not worth it at all. Wait till you try the Sigma 50mm f1.4. whistling.gif
*

I have not tried the 35mm F1.4G nor the Sigma 50mm F1.4 HSM. But reading from Dyxum lens review, my perception is that 35mm F1.4G is not as you say "not worth it at all".
At this time, my preference is still 35mm F1.4G + A700 over Sigma 50mm F1.4 HSM + A850. smile.gif (although I know I maybe wrong whistling.gif )

fancy me quoting myself... tongue.gif

Ok, I've read the reviews of both the 35mmG and Sigma 50F1.4 HSM.
I think the Sigma 50F1.4 HSM is a better lens from F2 and brighter and beats the Sony 35mmG at that aperture range.
Value for money wise, I also think that the Sigma 50 F1.4 HSM beats the Sony 35mm G hands down. I think the 35mm G is priced too high (and as Moo bro mention "not worth it at all" ... for me, at its currect price, may not worth that much.

I stand corrected.

Matin is good one? Compare to Crumpler/Disgrace?
Need something that's all black, with less decoration (=

If the detachable one, durable enuff kah that?
Afraid later the lock can break.. And that's not good when u're hanging 7-8k of item on it~
*

Personally I do not have the confidence to rely my camera on a detachable strap... unsure.gif
