I just bought the MBP 13" 2.4 last 2 weeks, and right now I am in awe because the new White Macbook is as the same spec as the MBP i bought..haih, but what to do..bought already..can't complain much, like all of you said, technology advancement happens.. sad.gif

Yeah me also same situation with u, bought MBP 13' last 2 weeks. Now MBW is reducing its price to RM3299 with alsmost same spec with my MBP except RAM. But i dont regret, i love my MBP so much hehe. But eventhough the spec are almost the same, but MBP got a few advantages compare to MBW, like backlit keyboard, aluminium unibody, firewire, much better LED screen, glass trackpad, mini display port, SD card slot and more thinner

bought mine by apple online store..
u can upgade ur MBP if u do puchase it at apple online store..the cost is +RM147.00 if u buy using education price..
not sure how much the cost if u buy with normal price, but i think it is still same..apple will do the customization of ur MBP at factory in china then send it directly to u..

320GB 2.5" sata drives are around rm150 for now. u can buy at any PC shops (i'd recommend hitachi or western digital) and install it on your own. u'll also need an external casing to transfer ur files etc, even cheap ones will do.

wont void ur warranty. u can find an upgrade guide at ifixit.com, juz make sure u get the correct screwdrivers

u can send to service center if u want, but of course they'll charge u lah. doing it urself is also a good chance to get to know ur mac on a more 'intimate' level lol
External casing, u mean external hdd?

Can i know why u more interested in MBP 13' instead of 15'?, is it because of budget or mobility or other reasons?

Or it could be static electricity.
