for a 2 months old battery, it's normal
I normally won't debate on an issue when it is so logically clear which is correct but in this case, mine dropped to 92% after only 13 charge cycles and having it for 6 months; and I was given a new battery after claiming for it. If it is normal would Apple allow the replacement?
Further, in earlier posts, one forummer posted a screenshot showing his 18 months MBP with quite a number of charge cycles but the battery health is 96%. Afore-stated numbers are as per what I remember, give or take. Lastly a friend when he sold off his MBP after almost a year of usage and he is quite a heavy user, it was 96%.
So, how can a 2 month unit with a low charge cycle be normal with a 93% health rating? Are you saying that the battery giving way after slightly over 2 years of usage, arithmetically, if the trend persists, is normal???
What I am expounding is I comment with facts in hand, not just in passing.

true enough boss, but wat i can figure, the heat is released from tiny holes under the keyboard...i may be wrong, but thats wat i learned..
besides, the shield will cover the same area covered by the case..
i'll read up on this issue more...
in the meantime, hope to hear more inputs frm all of us here...

Whenever I use my MBP putting on my lap(after all it's a laptop), I can feel the heat oozing from the bottom at the back. So, this is something you should note. Anyway, it's always a good idea to read up more before making any decisive move.
