i think coaching better u go for certified coach with sport science knowledge as well la so that they can advise u ur body's mechanism when running n hitting.. if just feeding u ball n drilling with u tat one u can find ppl like ckseong o pooh who can feed u ball consistently free of charge or just a belanja makan... those 'coaches' who is asking for fees one better have some certification to backup unless the requested fee to pay for balls n court bookings..

Well said:)

Luckily I have a few, not birth cert ok:)....so who want to hire me:) hehe

Vobs do u have a team or group of players for tennis.  smile.gif
Why not u come over to my place for friendly tennis game.  nod.gif
*
Im a lone ranger la, i play with everybody regardless what level they are:) its more fun that way for me la

but i can help hook u guys up with some other teams that i know of....depending what ntrp level u want and i will be able to find a few teams for you....

As for sunway LYN court player, so Carto, have u gathered enough people already, maybe 2-3 doubles pair......my friend told me that their team is ready to play on any weekends....they are looking for players with ntrp 2.5-3 to play with.

As for me, anyone wanna play a friendly singles game? i wanna practice match play:)

Just curious how much are coaching rates in KL? Does it differ from state to state, ie Penang RM60, KL itself RM70 , this is an example.

Or does it vary on the creditability of the coach say I am a certified USTA coach and has a Level 2 ITF coaching certificate, am I allowed to charge more than a coach who has a USTA cert? what are your opinions? How about a coach that has no valid certificate but has good coaching abilities, I know some coaches that have certificate but don't have people skills.....your opinions are appreciated, thanks!
*
Dont worry about charges, willing coach willing students.....regardless got cert or no cert, if students think ure good enough to make him/her improve, they will learn from you....if they dont think ure any better than them, then even ure an ex national also no use:)

some have cert but no ppl skill, some dont even know how to hold the racquet right will have more students than anyone around his area.....so all depends on how you market yourself and what are the skills that impresses your potential students.......good luck bro in your search for answers....the above is just my two cents:)

coaching rates in kl  standard rate rm60-rm70.  regarding the credibility of coaches who has USPTA,ITF LEVEL 1 or 2 here in malaysia is not much differents. The problem is anyone can take the ITF certificate even if they dont know how to play the game. some coaches they were top players before so they know more about the game even without certificate.U know he is a good coach if u can easily understand the instruction and most importantly apply it to the drill during the lesson.
*
Bro, ur permission to do some correction on your remark, level 1 part one anyone can take as it is only theory and advice from national tutor, level 1 part 2 need to go through exams and practical so candidate need to have some tennis competency.

Level 2 is higher level. Please do not say its no difference because it does make alot of difference (go take it if u can to have more accurate info) in terms of learning how to coach, learning how to manage a group of students, making sure students have fun for future juniors, need to take sport science, making sure u have a sound knowlegde in all parts of tennis, making sure u know how to play a good tennis.

Anyway, a cert is just a cert, in the working world, some dont go to school also become senior manager, some graduate is struggling to go there. in all, it boils down to whether u know how to solve problems in the company or not, if u can solve students problem, then ure a good coach regardless....but sometimes a cert does make a difference in terms of knowledge and steps thus making it more efficient and effective for students to learn, especially for those starting out tennis.

Ok:) my two cents, im done explaining.....just say whatever u like but i hope u guys can go get more accurate information before making any comment:) sorry ya if offend, no harm intended, just need to clarify things if its not true:)

bro...in malaysia if u go out there and see level 1 coach and level 2 coach do the coaching, can u tell me the difference??? tell me ?? that is my point.im just answering the post.thats all.just my 2 cents. its not that i dont respect people who got the certificate.I also have certificates,in fact im the first batch in malaysia who took the itf level 1 in msia. and i also have resume as a player rolleyes.gif.maybe im not accurate enough?dont got offended too smile.gif.im done explaining.maybe u can define me more about people only with certificates and people with playing experience with certificates.

drool.gif  notworthy.gif WAH!!! That is indeed a friggin treasure.....I saw this once, but passed the chance to buy it, never asked the store owner how much he was askin for, I don't think I could afford that then. Thanks for posting your GEM of a racket!!!
Btw may I ask cosmetically from a structural point of view, is the BLX 95 prone to paint chips, ball scuffing like the K6.1 tour, I know that K95 has a nice lacquer/acrylic on it so its nice and glossy, or matte,so its more resistant to ball scruffing and paint chips, this is a real downer for me, hope you can shed some light on this subject, thanks in advance!

Wah uluboy got people 'praise' your backhand leh........better work extra hard!!!!
Keep up the good work!!

not sure about paint chip or ball scruff......during my demo today, every part of the racquet is so new:) lets wait for owner to reply heheheh

wah, klboy is also known as uluboy ar? nice nice hehehe....yeah he pass me with his back hand from the baseline TWICE.....
