QUOTE(PINK_MING @ May 12 2010, 11:23 AM) squash and badminton has lesser country playing compared to tennis....thus the number of professionals players are different, it is harder to go to the top in tennis due to more players than the two other sports:) |

RM 450 each and I bought them in March; they're still like new. A very nice racquet, too bad a tad bit heavy in swing weight for me.....good luck bro in your sale:)Any one interested? Added on May 15, 2010, 6:34 pm QUOTE(ckseong80 @ May 15 2010, 11:17 AM) I am a xfire 16 user. hmmm tot 17 should break first since its thinner guage.....and due to thin gauge it will impart more spin thn 16....but then again it boils down to individual playing style and preference:) bro when want to play with me hehehJust that day the shop no more 16 so I just went for 17. I feel 16 is much better. Has more pop, more bite and usually the strings will break before it drops to the tension where it irritates you. I think my fire down this couple of weeks cos of the string. Restring later!! This post has been edited by vobs: May 15 2010, 06:34 PM |

If you can gather a team, i can help you guys fix a date with them.....sat or sun is best time (play at their court since its free, only 1 court that is good condition). do let me know.....see u guys so passionate so helping out to set up some friendly competition to further strengthen your passion:) |

True also la according to the statement above, if u start with improper stroke, ur play level will stuck there forever, unless u get someone to correct it before it turn into habit.
but then again, if play for fun and dont mind losing then anyone is free to play however they like:) just my two cent:) heres another suggestion, why not all LYN member organise an internal friendly singles play to determine who is 1st single, 2nd single or 3rd single.....then when there are friendly matches, those people will represent:) just my two cent suggestion la hehehe no need folo also nvm.... Added on May 20, 2010, 1:02 am QUOTE(pooh88 @ May 19 2010, 11:29 PM) But hor the way i look at it give u few years down the road still the same. bro pooh, why not u represent LYN and play with the pj guys:)Unless u take up serious proper lesson for tennis then u got chance to beat PJ Club. No matter how long u play u won't beat them, unless u correct you strokes . U ask Prae see i say gam or not 1st u must able to accept ppl bamboo, then baru can improve ckseong is good, he must represent heheh how bout prae? if good, represent la n help to get back LYN's pride and passion by not losing kau kau hehehe This post has been edited by vobs: May 20 2010, 01:02 AM |

QUOTE(praetorian @ May 21 2010, 06:48 AM) When you go for coaching don't expect a miracle, on your first lesson. Well said:) it all depends on the student practise timeSome people would assume their game would improve ten-fold just because they are PAYING for that one lesson, it does NOT work that way. You, the student has to apply what was taught and during your own free time, practice what you were taught, if you only practice during coaching, your progress will be slower.... |
