wah bro vobs good idea! I will answer the question, these are my opinions anyway :-D
1.On some rackets I prefer a dampener and on some I don't I am using power pads though....
2.Single for me! Why..... I hit harder and flatter , though I can hit a topspin backhand just fine, but in all honesty use what works for you, I am learning to hit a double backhand at the moment so I can look the part when it comes to coaching lol.
3.Nike comfort is better, but very fragile especially the Fed polo, the Adidas Edge collection is my personal favourite, if you are talking shoes, if I have money to burn I take Nike, but I cannot afford to change shoe every 2 weeks, yhhhaa I can wear a hole in the sole in 2 weeks.....so for me shoes are from adidas, Barricades only...... :-/
4.I can hit both easily with ease, for depth I can flat it out, or I can pass or set up a pass with a dipping ball so incoming volleyer has to volley 'up', then I can make a pass...
5.For me, I can do both easy, if you have time to set up, and take a big wind up for kinetic chain, use close....if no time but can hit on the rise, I do 'open'...

jogging can improve a certain percentage of your footwork, but I think it improves your stamina more than not, if you want to improve your footwork you need to practice skipping,side stepping, lunges,I can later pm some drills which should help improve your footwork, naturally you WON'T see a improvement overnite, but gradually, cool.

Pinky if you want to improve your 2nd serve, from now now, use your 2nd serve as your first serve, remember if you want more spin/kick/angle, you have to swing 'UP' HARDER and FASTER than your first serve. Try this , this is not a 100% cure/remedy for 'kick serves, do not toss the ball to infront of the baseline, try tossing the ball and let the ball hit you on the head, THEN try brushing the ball from 7-11 pic included (copyright k.....you now owe me $$$, better yet make that another plate of chicken rice!!!!). Topspin serve you do not hit with racket face fully straight on at contact, hit like Fed (see pic), Another pic see (fed again) last but not slice you can see him coming under the ball...

practice for 1 month, if you encounter any problems, post here or pm me, once you biasa already THEN toss the ball infront a bit, the more comfortable you are, the further you toss in front, you will notice the further you toss in front the less kick you get, but more pace/power , its up to you how you want to 'beat' the receiver, keep your arms and your wrist loose!!!

also it will normal if you SHANK the ball, when you shank the ball you know you are 'cutting' the ball alrite!!!

Pinky just to let you know, there is no such thing as a pure flat serve unless you are Ivo Karlovic, who stands at 6'10....almost anything less than that including Del Poltro almost all flat serves out there have some degree of spin, no matter what.

Pinky you dun think strange meh.....BLX racket but plastic wrapper on the grip is K-factor one......hahahah

Hey pinky I just checked the link you posted regarding the Barricades, I,myself am not 100% sure they are authentic or imitation goods or not, as the pic's he posted looked like they were taken from some where else, coz I have seen those pics before, also the seller is selling counterfeit rackets somemore.....for me this is a deal breaker, naturally you're welcome to have your own opinion.
