Uh, no. Only til recently they've used the capacitive screen, others , Touch Pro 2, Diamond 2, Touch 2 are still using resistive and yet when they came out was about 2k ++.Eg. HTC HD2. Capacitive believes better and more prone to iphone-sensitivity of touch screen. But higher cost to implement it.

Do not generalize. This phone came out but with little marketing ploys, not many know of it. There are 3(Omnia II, Omnia Pro 7330, and this 7610) omnias that came out almost simultaneously, people have more to choose, not everyone would know every 3 of them
It doesnt mean that the low number of users mean that the phone is bad.
