12 Things You May Not Know About Samsung Omina Pro B7610adopted from CareAce.net
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
1. Microphone The B7610 Omnia Pro has two microphones. Aside from the regular mouth piece, it is also equipped with a microphone for speakerphone. Considering that the device is designed for business users, the speakerphone feature may come in handy during meetings or conferences.
2. Headset and TV Out Similar to the Samsung Omnia II, the B7610 also has a 3.5mm headset and TV out jack. This will allow easy access of media output. You can use just about any earphone or tv out cable to listen to music or watch videos stored in the device. Additionally, the hardware collection also include a lock key. Gone are the days where you have to hold onto the End key to lock up your device.
3. The “Composer Access Key” The convenient Composer access key brings up pre-installed composers including Message, Email, Appointment, Memo and Global Search. One key to create them all is certainly useful and can be a powerful thing.
4. microSD and microSDHC Cards The B7610 Omnia Pro is capable of accepting either microSD or microSDHC memory cards up to 32GB. This makes a difference to users whose having trouble getting either SD or SDHC cards read on their system.
5. Dual User-Interface (UI) Modes The B7610 Omnia Pro will be supporting two UI modes, the Work mode and the Life mode, operable by the Mode switch key. This feature probably one of the major improvement when it comes to user-interface. It does reminds us of SPB Mobile Shell’s Lifestyle Layout and Professional Layout.
6. SRS CS Headphone Another big step in regard to the mobile hardware is the SRS CS Headphone feature supported on the Samsung B7610. Capable of delivering 5.1 surround sound experience over regular headphones or earpieces when listening to multichannel content such as DVD movies, Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 is the first mobile device to apply this technology. WOW HD significantly improves the playback quality of audio, delivering a dynamic 3D entertainment experience with deep, rich bass and high frequency clarity for crisp details. Think about it as a live orchestra been played out in your ear.
7. Translation feature through SmartReader The Omnia Pro B7610 is also equipped with built-in translation feature through the pre-installed SmartReader. Need to understand a document in foreign language? Leave Google Translate out and just use your convenient built-in Translation.
8. Universal Search If you are looking for a certain document that you have misplaced on your mobile device, use the universal search feature called Smart Search. It can go through your storage or even the internet to find the information that you need.
9. Improved GPS Positioning Omnia Pro utilizes XTRA Server to improve the speed and accuracy of GPS positioning capability. It is allows for the expansion of your navigation to areas where cellular networks are not accessible. This feature does seem to have already existed on the HTC Touch Diamdon 2.
10. Visual Connectivity Text can be relatively boring and not as interactive. Visual aids, on the hand engages and can be interesting to interact with. With these in mind, the Omnia pro has visual Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity feature where you can establish connections by simply dragging a network icon to the device icon in the middle of the screen (as seen below).
11. Compatible and Supports DLNA Known as the Digial Living Network Alliance (DLNA), the network’s ultimate purpose is to connect all digital equipment and allows for easy remote and wireless access. The B7610 Omnia Pro both supports and is compatible with this network. This allows the Windows Mobile device to access and play files from other devices that also supports DLNA.
12. SWYPE Input Keyboard Lastly, the Omnia Pro also has SWYPE input keyboard, the predictive keyboard input technology. It is probably the coolest and most practical way of text entry on a touchscreen. You are basically drawing and connecting between characters to form the word. I am in dilemma between E72 and b7610. From the specs, the touch screen type is resistive, which same as nokia 5800. And i tried my friend's 5800, the responsive on touch screen is totally a sluggish!

How about b7610?
Sorry for late reply ya.. I am testing on it recently. Actually B7610 touch screen is consider great if among restitive touch screen. NOT to compare with iphone.
E72 and B7610 is totally different System. Depend on your experiences and your need. I am a windows Mobile user for years, already used to it. Compare to Symbain, WM is a bit more customiable and complicated. If u use phoen just for entertainment and phoen purpose i think Symbian is better. Most WM user like to play with the phone with lot of crazy and incredible progeam.hehe
for speed . I think it will be equally same for both device if u set it properly.

Omnia Pro was RM50 just than Omnia 2, last check in garage sales (Ori set)
Omnia 2 = RM1650 Omnia Pro (aka 7610) = RM1700
Omnia pro has more advantage due qwerty slider, specs almost similar but the internal storage rom is 1GB, but the main drawback these model has smaller RAM compare to HTC
I think Samsung price is more reasonable than overprice HTC,
