alright TS. i have refrained from helping you because you do have some serious personality problems. i'm sure that i'm not the only one who feels this way (just read the replies here and inside the iPhone subforum)

however i want to put this problem out of your misery.

because your iPhone is an australian unit and apple actually operates a store down under, they have additional perks available.

Out-of-Warranty Service

If you own an iPhone that is ineligible for warranty service but is eligible for Out-of-Warranty (OOW) Service, Apple will replace your iPhone with a new or refurbished iPhone for the Out-of-Warranty Service fee listed below.

just pay AUD199 and you will get a working set immediately. more information here

hence just scan through your contacts and see who is going to australia in the near future.

listen.

that's the price (both monetary and value wise) that you have to be prepared to face for buying something which is not covered by local distributors; you don't receive any warranty coverage

instead of just relying on the seller alone, shouldn't you be more resourceful and take into consideration, on what i have just suggested above?

take your own initiative. help isn't gonna drop from the sky and work out accordingly.

that is online apple store to purchase stuff from internet..
i don't think they have physical Apple Stores... only Machine ...

when you purchase from the 'malaysia' apple store, your items will be shipped from singapore anyway.

everything will be handled from there.

they typically use fedex (or DHL, i cannot remember)

not just machines. premium resellers range from mac city, epicentre et cetera.

apexitrust was right. apologize him. for now, remove his details in 1st post n promise him that u'll revoke the police report made earlier once things settled. he can tag along if he want. if seller insist on not helping u anymore, u just hv to do it alone. what ever ther result, u come n report here. ask Apple Malaysia to help u prove if the iPhone is faulty. but if it was due to the shock after all, u got to be strong.

i think, what Apple Malaysia can do is to verify whether the iPhone eligible for warranty or not. u both (seller + TS) dont hv to say it was due to the shock. just say it suddenly malfunction. i doubt it was due to the fall that the iPhone want haywire since there are no direct hit, it could be a faulty unit after all. my phone drop so many times n still running well...not an iPhone anyway.

if possible, ask Appe Malaysia to confirm with Aus branch too. if they both branch say the phone is good for warranty, go on.

hear this from someone who has used apple products for years (spanning in UK, malaysia and australia) and also three generations of iPhones (almost three years), what you have just mentioned above (and i took the liberty to underline the statements in blue), will not happen or take place.

there is nothing bad or good.

just how the iPhone agreements are being drafted.

in malaysia, maxis (or now with digi) are the exclusively carriers and they will be in charge of the units brought in by themselves.

but for the case, of macbook or macbook pros for example, the warranty is worldwide
