after installing the line the contractor will activate the line immediately for my case la... then only i pay him rm30 kekeke

did u requested him to do extra wiring ? if u never do extra wiring , RM30 only , but if u paid RM50 , u get cut throat . any receipt issued by him ?

pls call the contractor after 24hours if the phone still got no dial tone... no need to call 100 as they are useless

Why RM 60 one? Mine only RM 30. The contractor was a young man , really good guy. Mine was available in less than 6 hours.

He did mentioned that I need to wait 24 hours before there is a dial tone. You might want to to do that.

i guess bcoz u look "innocent' to him ...but dont u knw its only Rm30 ?  u deserve it coz there is no way contractor can charge u for Rm60 without extra wiring , and the receipt issued to u is not urs phone no.

There is nothing wrong with kind , even I was kind. Well sometimes putting these guys in your pocket will be handy. You gotta tackle this way. Most of you guys are young , that explains why you're raging. Think wisely , if you have his number and something goes wrong with your phone line , you know who to call as calling 100 is pointless. Their system takes forever to update and forever to assign a tech.  A lot of people complain , basically if its written RM 30 and you pay RM 40 extra and have his number , ummm he can help you with phone line related problems. Same goes with your streamyx tech guy. Put him in your pocket and if you have issues with your port , just give him a call and get it done

Unfortunately, the contractor that install the wiring are not relatec to the contractor that deals with your Streamyx

Streamyx technician just called me up ! Now I'm happily waiting and excited to know whether my area is supported with Streamyx 4Mbps... another problem would be getting the cap raised as well as depending on the luck, I would like to see if I could get 218 premium IP.

Sometimes confusion can occur which can cause this problem. You better deal with TMPoint. You should stick to one

Premium IP and capping at 5Mbps ? Well gone with those days hereby it used to be easier to do it. Now days it seems to be pretty hard to do it.

my 4Mb application >1 mothh edi.. still not active.... dunno who else to escalate. they keep on miss the appointment. never call also.

Seems like I'm the lucky guy ! I got 218.111.xxx.xxx IP on the activation date, that's today. And yeah, I'm on 4Mbps at the moment!

I'm sorry if I made you jealous , I do sincerely apologize, but you know... this is the first time ever I get to use streamyx in 7 years. Since day one, I'm using dial-up and for another 7 years, I was stuck with Jaring wireless BB... can you imagine, 7 years of 30KB/s speed with super high latency? I couldn't even play games properly. It's the frustration, and finally today I'm really excited.

Well, better not count the chickens before the egg hatches since there might be possibility of screw up sooner or later. After all these years, and a stubborn father to convince, it's not easy. My patience did paid off.
