All go out must come back. When you have Live, you need neutral to have a complete circuit.

Usually light switch is on with Live, and neutral are all loop neat the equipments. Only A/C, heater, oven switch, or high current switch have both neutral and Live.

If your switch point have A/C or water heater switch, you can tap from there.

Than you need to tap it from the nearest A/C socket, or pull one over.

You need a live wire to make it work. Normally live wire is not available in your light switch. If you don't know what you are doing please hire a electrician

Live is on the light switch.

Very dangerous to tell people wrong information. They may think is not live and touch the wires.

Nope, the shop selling cables, conduit, and major electrical wiring.

One at SS2, the near swensen's ice cream , few more at sea park, near the O&S Restaurant. Or pasar road.

E711 last year price was around 80 to 90.

Std switch don't have neutral line. Most timer require Live + neutral to run.

Hi all,

I just bought this timer for my new house at puchong (lighting shop next to Top ten).
i ask the sales person whether this timer can be installed at the DB. he said yes. the maximum is 1000W.

he even showed me how he did to his shop.

Anyone here tried install this timer at DB?

Thanks.

EH711 can install in db. If you need it to drive higher current equipments u need to install a relay.

hi,

thanks for you reply.

what do you mean by higher current equipments?any example?
i only need the timer for1 light for the porch, 2 light at the back, 1 for the side & 1 for LED spot light.
is it ok?

thanks.

Lights is small current, no issue. You need to check if your outdoor light does it seperate from others lighting circuit. Most house will share one circuit for all lighting, or maybe two circuit for entire house lighting. If is share you won't be able to control it from DB.
