50k - 100k just to basic refurbish & restore...
quite pricey..

Just wondering how is the rent rate as SS2, it is a distance from those college and uni compared to seksyen 17..

Hmm...i think seksyen 17 has better rent rate right? At Seksyen 17, a double storey will have > Rm 1,600?
3 years ago, i rented one condo there, and it is rm 1,700..

The row of DS houses facing LDP is not worth for RM500k especially those houses near to Tropiciana City Mall because the LDP is expanding by using the road in front of those houses to accomodate car from Tropiciana City Mall, I guess.

Don't buy property from ss2/106 because there will be another condo (heard is Casa 3) coming soon and the access door will be facing ss2/106. Many cars will park along the road and the traffic will turn busy next time.

SS2 houses i think are all freehold. the houses may be old but there are some pretty well maintained and renovated. prices will depend on location and condition, an ok area with no renov will be rm400k+ upwards. that is for the smallest DSL, for larger units i think is >500k easily. i know there was a very basic no renov 26x85 sold for >600k. corner i think can easily go >800k

like post above, prepare for 50-100k renovation

seems it is a bit pricey here..wonder it will have any more room to appreciate in future or not.?

another question, if loan 500k, monthly repayment will be around 2.5k - 3k right?(based on average loan package)
