@lee
Does CoreDamage really stress the CPU much?? Better than OCCT hmm.gif..

@highwind

yesterday open s42 up again, tried to apply 1cent mod to GPU mod, failed again, still, gap too small..had to use back thermal sticker

put back also, dunno why idle temp increased by 1C liao, and i tested furmark with 8x MSAA with my cooling pad, got 94C after 3-4 minutes...maybe last night my aircon not cold enough tongue.gif

but i tried some overclocked setting on PCSX2, before this that setting was giving me 81-84C liddat, and yesterday i tried, it's 77C~81C liddat...still very nice

also, i notice, our CPU aint using thermal pad, it's using thermal paste..that's why the cooling for CPU before this is quite good already XD

@BBX
Your room when testing using FurMark is air conditioned + cooler, temp @94C runs 3~4 minutes?...well, that's quite sweat.gif...in air con room should be around 90C no hmm.gif

lolz...
miahaha knows me well

btw for the temp, not really mah....Dirt 2 98C also is air con room with cooling pad ler..i got see without cooling pad i think i saw 3 digit value on temperature before...quite scary
furmark also, last time i didnt really try on cooling pad, but i think it would be also 98C or so la, it's due to the less efficient heat transfer of thermal pad

Added on April 22, 2010, 10:31 am@lee: try intel burn test?

since 1 cent didn't fit, what about aluminum foil and fold it into square like thermal pad?

running intel burn test now, so far highest is 45C hmm.gif
running F@H also around 44-45C...

duwan use aluminum foil la..just use back thermal pad until i found another better solution

Added on April 22, 2010, 10:46 ambtw how much heat will the GPU ram generate? normally it's gonna be lower compared to GPU? how much would it affect if it has better cooling also?
if just minor boost then i think i wont be bothered...

Not sure about that, but I used it to measure the Pentium M and below...

furmark can run on GMA?

cancelled intelBurnTest, seems like not rising from 45C...
