BC2, still on S42??? I got no problem with mine even with native res & medium setting...bombard or whatever blown still got good images ..what driver are you using??

What i did exactly ..easier this way ...well, for now hybrid is best with 185.85/195.62 or the official one from BenQ

s57 wont feel heat on palm rest area eh?? since nothing is located on palm rest.. and ATI will be cooler than NV i suppose..

definitely cooler... HD4650 is produced in 55nm while 9600M GT is a 65nm product...

the XP BIOS of S42 would disable the Intel GMA, leaving 9600M GT to be the only graphic adapter usable... if u dun do that, XP Would recognise only Intel GMA and 9600M GT would be disabled...

oh.. i see... serious.. i dont know if i really need the battery life.. its da matter bugging me.. s57 or s42.. battery life.. lol..

i bought benq s42 with P8600 cpu 2 years ago for 3.4k.....
and just now i saw compaq cq42 with i5 cpu for 2.69k..
laptops kao2 cheap today..sienz..

btw, do u guys use the application BenQ Surround?
i just installed it today, and "WOW!" the speaker sound is really improving a lot i tell ya..

i remembered when i bough my S41 few years ago, the first one from John_jay2, immediately after the stock arrive at the shop. all for rm4100 after adding 1GB more ram. sigh.. if it wasn't for the stupid nvidia gpu, i would still be using that i think...

^^ haha, thread going slow on weekends ...well, must be outing with friends, like me ....

Well, just to update, my temp seems to be ok for now, 185.85 is just great, the temp never exceed 100C while playing games (this is without any cooler & in a non air-con room)...but, my guess is my CPU is running kinda berserk as it always in average temp of 57~62C ..no time to pry open my S42 at the moment
