T6600 + ATi HD3650 DDR3@RM1999, expensive? Similar performance with HD4570 DDR3?

HD3650 much better la...

120SP + 128-bit memory...

compared to 80SP + 64-bit memory for HD4570...

u'll see the difference in FPS especially...

Added on May 4, 2010, 9:54 ami ve a feeling HD3600 is the main reason y HD5400 is still stuck with 80SP...

and yes, it's cheap... very worth it... T6600 2.2GHz, on par with Core i3... HD3650 is the killer one... u can't find a GPU of the same performance at the same price...

interested??? laugh.gif

mia...

imo HD3650 > HD5470...

HD5470 will need GDDR5 in order to be near HD3650...

afterall, HD3650 has 50% more SP than HD5470...

finally Phenom II is hitting the market...

better choice compared to Core i7 quad... consumes less power, better general performance... i am more interested to see how Phenom II x2 stacks against Core i7 dual though... the highest end model runs at 3GHz, and is a Black Edition... drool.gif

nah... all i see is news only... nothing abt the GPU...

though i suspect it's nothing great... probably a HD5500 series...

specs would be interesting to see though... only option for AMD is 120SP, 64-bit...

comparison to i5 and i7 and P series? performance and temperature?? can give the outline ah?

no much info i can give u...

but for the new K10 mobile CPU, they are separated into 3 series: X, N and P... running at 45W TDP, 35W TDP and 25W TDP respectively... X series also denote the Black Edition CPU, which have the multiplier unlocked...

and then there's the following families:
Phenom II x4
Phenom II x3
Phenom II x2
-------------------
Turion II x2
Athlon II x2
V series (no marketing name yet)

the line separates the 2 prodution lines... Phenom II are all native quad core CPU, with 1 or 2 disabled for the x3 and x2 respectively... Turion II and Athlon II are native dual cores... while V series is native single core...

each will have their own falvour of N and P CPU, with the exception of V series, since it is already 25W TDP...

only Phenom II x4 and Phenom II x2 will have X CPU...

now Intel has a hard battle to fight... especially when u see a quad core appearing in a budget laptop...

oh, and i forgot to mention...

Phenom II x4 N930 (2.0GHz, 4x 512KB L2 cache, 1800MHz HT) performs slightly better than Core 2 Quad Q9000 (2.0GHz, 2x 3MB L2 cache, 1066MHz FSB)
