You ordered the whole set? I only took the basic first front and rear. The guys at kakimotor really took a long time to fix the rear piece. could not get the nut in. damage=400

Smart key is one of the Interesting topic to talk about,
Just wondering how tough our smat key is? I have dropped my smart key for few times but luckily it wuz OK and look like really tough eventhough after a hard drop on the hard surface. For sure fell "hurt" and sakit hati once drop but what to do...Accidently maaa...the  concern is, is it our key really tough/tahan lasak?

Also the important thing is, How much it will be cost us if this key malfunction/faulty and need to be replace???...

With your existence , this thread will hit V10 in no time, kindly stick to the topic. Take your 'cutesy' somewhere else. This is a car forum, not a place for you to 'kaw zai'. Please be considerate, thanks.

Dear all 2.0 owners, I tried to break-in with the gear at "N",rev up to 4k rpm no issue but I tried to floor the gasoline pedal and the max is 5k rpm only and it fluctuating around 4.7k to 4.9k rpm. Strange thing is gear at "D", the car has no issue to hit above 6k rpm. Please comment if experience the same scenario also.
*
why u run in with N gear? dont rev stationary ler your car has no air passing radiator to cool it fast enuf!

I am FULLY aware that this is a public forum and there is freedom of speech, thanks for pointing it out anyway. But please also keep in mind that spamming unnecessarily is a waste of space/time and not EVERYONE will appreciate.
I look forward to useful tips and information on Forte while waiting for mine. I am a newbie although I have been following this thread for 1 month and I am NOT here to create enemies at all. Won't it defeat the purpose of a Forte thread if half of the page is dedicated to whether someone had breakfast or not ? Pleasantries are nice but taking it far is not. It's called forum etiquette. ... just my 2 cents .... peace !

Something I like to share with all. I managed to solve a problem that some of us might have.

This is concerning the 'Yik yik yik' sound coming from the rear seats. Do not mistaken this for suspension squeaking sound (that one might need to go SC to fix).

1. Fold both rear seats down.
2. Open the flap/carpet cover that hides the seats' hinge (access from the trunk)
3. On the left passenger side, there is a small nut bolted onto the trunk's floor. I noticed that it to have some scrape marks. Seems that it was scrapping against the seat's metal frame. (Some might not have this problem if your rear seats' cushion are properly fixed at the back)
4. Get some sponge ( i used a padded double sided tape) and just cover the nut.
5. Done. No more squeaking sound. Happy!  thumbup.gif

Now I can drive peacefully.

BTW, MDPS is awesome. Soooo damn light. Can't imagine how I would go back to a normal hydraulic steering system. Hehe

Convincing argument there.

Just checked Kumho website. No mention of 'check inside-out' on maintenance section. nod.gif
Thanks ye 'all.

If your tire needs to be installed in certain direction the side wall will indicate (OUTSIDE). if there's no such info present it can be used both sides. My Falken 912 needs to be installed with (OUTSIDE) facing outside cause with dry/wet pattern unlike your SX OEM tires. Again pulling to 1 side is got to do with setup not tires.
