Just replaced my emblems to KIA ori emblems front & rear.
Both NAZA emblems quite easy to peel out (maybe my hands strong enuf..hehe). The tough part is to clean off the leftover gums on the front...have to patiently scarp piece by piece using a test pen & scrapper.(with kerosine,thinner,soap,etc...) The rear part is easy..no issue for that. finally fixed & very satisfied with KIA emblems & 4 pcs KIA stickers on wheel caps. (Special thank to my supplier bro Sugen & KFC)...kakaka |

QUOTE(izputra @ Apr 21 2010, 01:01 PM) Finally my alignment problem has been solved at the outside tyre shop. Dealer SC at Alor Setar also cannot solve it (alignment problem) when i send my car for the first service last monday, though i gave a credit to them becoz they solved the driver's seat ratlling sound. Ended up by sending the car to my hometown's trusted alignment 'guru'. That's what exactly JB SC ppl told me, and also I found out that the way to inspect if your tyre inside-out.Here's the story : Before he did the alignment, he test the current alignment first by driving my car for a short distance. Then he did the alignment..& test it again. He said that the alignment problem still exist. After that, he inspected both front rims & tyres, he suspect that the culprit is the tyre itself & he said that one of the front tyre installed 'inside out' (got other bro here said the same thing before). So he took out the left front tyre from the rim & installed it back the other way round..& the result is a perfect alignment. No camber nut used. That's what i called a guru's way to troubleshoot & solve the alignment problem Added on April 21, 2010, 1:07 pmNow surfing the internet at The Summit while waiting for my Forte to be glowed at Sierra Glow Read thru your tyre wall, there's words DOT Y07R ...make sure before this word is 87H...(in bigger font). So, let's check your tyres fortezens..hehehe Added on April 21, 2010, 8:50 pm QUOTE(sallehsi @ Apr 21 2010, 02:45 PM) in facebook also have myforte group...so many nowadays. Aizyou,
I went to JB SC. Regarding the tyres wording, the correct way should be 215/45R17 87H then DOT Y07R YA5P read clockwise. Remember, 87H comes first. Added on April 22, 2010, 1:37 amwonder why still ppl out there comparing vios/city with forte. I've seen vios interior personally & it just look plain, not to mention the small cabin size. As for forte,1.6 engine plus modern look & luxury interior with the 81K pricetag , really worthwhile. Unless vios priced at 65K-70K full spec, then it is worth to consider. Bro KFC got his point right.
This is all up to you to give it a try this so-called tyre expert method or just leave it. I am clueless here, just wanna give a try, no harm right? |

QUOTE(kiDd @ Apr 25 2010, 10:02 PM) i tested the forte 1.6SX today and felt it was underpower as one of the forumers said. As expected if a civic were to have a 1.6 it would have felt the same. After that i tried the vios and the city and it was kinda clear that the forte was better aside from it being underpower. Just get the 2.0, u'll never regret. So now im thinking of maybe just getting the 2.0 ? Anyone have any comments or feedback on the 2.0 or its not out yet ? FC ? Also did anyone add leather seat to their 1.6? How much did it cost ? I'm very satisfied with the power... now on the road I'm confident to cucuk many cars unlike my previous car waja only dare to cucuk small cars. |

QUOTE(limeuu @ Apr 27 2010, 06:00 PM) update after 1st day of use....... Agree ! The power is sufficient for my daily use. Need more power, press harder or use shiftronic loh.still no added sounds.....thank god......... alignment i think is still slightly off to the left, but very minimal, so i will accept that...... i now know why some people complain a temporary loss of power before taking off when accelerating out of a corner at mid speed (ie about 40kph).......the ecu is programmed to shift up to higher gears early.......in normal city traffic driving with a light foot, gear shifts occurs early, at 1600-1800rpm........it's pretty low torque at that range......so if you attempt to accelerate strongly out of the corner, it takes a while for the auto tranny to shift down a gear to find enough torque.........you will definitely not get enough power at 1600rpm in 4th gear ....... this is fine for me, normal driving for me, it accelerates slowly and steadily our of a turn without fuss of need to downshift........and the low rpm will translate to lower fc........ i think the reason why the ecu is programmed that way is, it's tuned for leisurely drive, with the assumption that if one needs power, one will use the shifttronic.......... note this if for 2.0..........the 1.6 will have a different ecu programming, as there is less power available across the range of rpm......... QUOTE(yhlee12 @ Apr 27 2010, 07:37 PM) bro, there r ppl doing importing business from certain websites in china... i just paid tat fella n get his partner to buy the stuff from china n ship back to malaysia, then i go collect. tat's all Where u bought the wheel cap? I personally prefer mudflaps without spray cause the sprayed color might easily peel off over time.
Now only realised so many bros switching from mazda2 to forte. Something goes wrong? Anyway, this is very good sign. You have made the right choice bros. |
