QUOTE(whiteforte @ Apr 19 2010, 10:30 PM) Bro, be careful speeding on Jelutong Expressway. A lot of accidents happen there especially at nite. WhiteForte, Tq bro...that's why I did not finish it my Break In just now...Will look for Another highway tomorrow, maybe PLUS and after that will try to push my White 1.6SX speed pedal to its limit and see how fast it can go....

QUOTE(dukunet @ Apr 19 2010, 10:39 PM) if rev hard can see increase in temperature? my experience (not forte) with cooling water hose leak, temperature increase slightly only (almost at midle line) when cruising (that time around 140kmh) but when stop, temp immediately redline. eventho no water for sometime, temp didn't seem to increase because cooling from air at high speed. of course it differ among cars due to where it take the temp, etc. IMHO, temp should not increase from normal level, if increase, cooling no good already, deteriorating. i didn't notice any temp increase during revving hard from penang-kl. but hard to compare what with only bar reading. anyway, becareful... dukunet...Agreed with U... Had you tried this Break In procedure on your forte....emmmm...the feel is not too bad.....still acceptable la....eventhough I have own few 2 engine previously...Including VR4 2.0 manual tranmission...some more, plan to start smooth drive on this forte...no more hard pushing,No more cucuk2....hehe...I'm getting enough...Unless...!!hehe...After All,I did not forget that I only drive 1.6 now...huhu..

QUOTE(dukunet @ Apr 19 2010, 11:20 PM) hehe.. me, different definition of sayang... sayang=enjoy to the fullest... but don't take unnecessary risk lar... i somehow, believe in the hard break-in... Added on April 19, 2010, 11:25 pmi haven't notice any noise inside my forte so far... but recently, when the engine is running, i heard like a "tik-tik" sound from the engine bay when i'm outside... didn't check in detail yet... anyone know bout this prob? Yup..me too..And I believe that most of the "Young" forte drivers here had break in their forte engine....Feel the difference...Some more it wuz advicable and recommended by the expertise..... Dukunet...Is it becaused of hard push on your machine during travelling PG-KL-PG that induce a noise...? This post has been edited by imoza05: Apr 19 2010, 11:52 PM

QUOTE(ruth1977 @ Apr 20 2010, 06:22 AM) Hi everyone, I have a question, when I sent my car initially for wheel balancing and alignment, the odometer was 357km but when I collected the car, the reading was 363km. Is this normal or did one of the SA decide to take my car for a joyride? ruth1977, Dun worry, I dun think they use your machine for joyride.furthermore, the difference was only few km only.My car is even higher. The have use around 40km++ for testing my alignment coz the need to try and eror.in fact they use a ong straight road to test onhigh speed.Anyway, I'm in the car with the during test driving. After all, satisfy with the alignment....
