yup... don't touch the camber nut.. There is no need to adjust camber.. Infact our car the camber is not adjustable.. It is already pre-fix/configure by manufacture.. Unless your car meet with serious accident & the camber is out.. Then, u need to change adjustable camber nut... During my spectra time.. really night mare.. They want to earn $$, e v time want to adjust camber & the charges is RM 80.. sucks blood.. Until i can't stand with it & change my to my stock camber nut..

Sugen - your info is incorrect. your problem is the service center not the camber nut. for me the camber nut is a must for proper handling setup for more aggressive driving style + fine tuning. i did not face a problem with this so they place u went to is not honest. camber nut is a tire saver if you hit a large pot hole your OEM camber will rosak especially after 1yr most camber will lari. without the adjustable camber nut u have to change whole absorber/mount etc. for track if u don't have adjustable camber nut u need to use adjustable top mount which is more expensive. so this simple nut is worth every cent lar!

Until now, still no SC can fix our Forte's alignment problem right? except the JB SC that solved this problem by installing the tyres 'inside out'. Is it the proven method to fix the alignment problem? i'm quite sceptical about it...
*
Haven't done my alignment yet. Car do tend to deviate to left.

Unclear 'bout this 'inside out' installation. Did the problem arise because the 2 of the stock rims are designed to turn clockwise (hence should be on forte's right front and rear) and the other 2 rims are meant to turn anticlockwise (hence should be on the left).(?) So if NAZA didn't install the rims accordingly ... alignment suffers. Just assuming though ..... the rims might be all the same.

Or could it be the stock tyres were not installed on the correct (left/right) side to ensure they turn as they're designed to (either clockwise or anticlockwise) according to each tyre thread pattern.(?) Anyway ... I haven't really look at the tyre thread pattern yet. I doubt tyres are specified into 2 ... to turn either clockwise or anticlockwise.

Not being much of a car-mechanics buff , will proceed with alignment first and hopefully goes well.
If not , have to read-up more regarding caster and camber.

Interestingly, my brother's Peugeot 308THP CBU also deviate to right (or is it left) on straight driving. After much researching, he learnt that it is purposely tuned as such because highways in France are not level .... they are slightly angled to the left. This is done to ensure rainwater flows to the side of the road and not get pooled in the middle of the road. Thus the alignment are offset to the right to counter the road which are levelled to the left. Dunno true or not... nod.gif

its to the left KLAuto boss Desmond also have 308THP same problem cause for left hand drive market they are on the right side of the road which means their road is sloping to the right therefore the need the car setup to lean to left to compensate. when its used here we all end up going to the left pulak! rclxub.gif

rclxub.gif for awhile there. Yup .. recalled my bro saying it deviates to the left. Couldn't make it out earlier coz not sure whether France left or right sided lane driving. So maybe they didn't retune the alignment after making right -hand-driven Pugs for our boleh-land. rclxub.gif Again.

Anyway, could it be that the same approach done for Forte by the Koreans? I mean ... car alignments are tuned to the left to counter the Korean highway road which is sloping to the right. I'm already rclxub.gif shocking.gif to think. Don't even know in Korea left or right lane driving.

most of the roads here is sloping to the left, therefore, you will feel the alignment drifting to left.
In order to test whether your alignment is proper, please go and test in a parking lot in the shopping, condos or any buildings with a flat drive way. You will find out the alignment is OK or not.
