hey, my 5800 now keep occuring WSOD! although i follow the step that guided in the first page but the problem came out again.=.=

is it my memory card got problem or anything else?

Attached the Orange Tsunami + Orange Tornardo newly release HS (original from British X6 mobile)

This attachment will install the Full Transparent, Original 5800xm icons Tsunami HS, no any pre-installation of the original orange tornado needed.
Work for un-hack phone. The only flaw will be the Vodafone HS title still stick in the HS Theme list.

You need to sign this mod in order to install it.

Also once install this will render the Contacts HS not working anymore (blank), it will easily recover by simply uninstall this mod.

Added on May 31, 2010, 11:41 amSome simple steps u can try:

1. connect the phone through USB MassStorage and use the windows Scandisk (tick the fix file system) and do a scan on the Mem card.
2. If u still seeing WSOD then it highly due to critical system files corrupted, a Hard Reset will mostly resolve the problem (of coz after the scandisk as it will fix the Mem Card file system and remove all corrupted files in the Mem Card)

right click at MCARD and go to properties>tools>scandisk

Yesterday, i did some gambling on my part. Bought myself an original 5800 lcd screen worth about RM180. What a bomb to fork out. At first wanted to throw away in Sungai Klang being so irritated by it but alas my other half said " abang ni beli mahal-mahal RM1350, repair RM180 kira ok la". With that said, immediately bought the lcd. Self installation by the way. Very easy as i'm a DIY kind of guy.

After 5 mins of installation, boot it up and what do you know, my problem solved! As i said earlier the problem arose only after entering out of screen saver mode. Tested playing with the slide switch for an hour or so, no sign of it coming back. Thank god.

You have to sign the sis file before installing. The cert and key can get from opda

Just a small question in case you guys faced the same issue before. I just bought B-Speech Calypso SP Bluetooth Headset which supports A2DP profile and paired it with my Nokia 5800. The Volume Up, Down and Play buttons on the headset work fine with my Nokia 5800, but the Next and Previous Track buttons do not work at all. There is just a beep when pressed, but the track does not move forward or backwards. My phone's firmware is already updated to the latest.

Hope somebody can offer a solution as it's a good headset, but this small issue is really, really annoying. Thanks a lot guys and have a nice day

I followed all the step and there are no WSOD anymore. But my music player has system error now. I can still play music from file manager but I can't go the music library to play / create playlist etc etc any help? any my phone now is really "feels wrong" , any way to restore to the way back before scandisk T.T

i accidently dropped my phone and now the screen cracked.. cannot see a thing at all.. anyone know the expected price to replace the screen? mine avaxx one.. huhuhuhuh
