Bah nothing new and it seems to be the biggest hype ever. I think I am going to sell iPhone 3G and move to Android. The reason why is that I dont see anything fascinating with it. Video calls which can't even be used over our 3G network.
I think Android might be the way to go from now. I might have gotten an unit myself if it had extras but then nothing is new apart from the new 5MP camera + flash + iMovie + larger resolution. Sorry Apple , you'll be losing me. A lot of apps yes but then I thought I would get more from it as in like front facing camera , ability to video chat with friends via 3G and not to mention to chat with iChat users/MSN (not sure if Apple is going to open up that). But giving up apps and the nice interface for something umm that well I'll have to think more about it. I guess I'll pass for now

QUOTE(hussain @ Jun 8 2010, 03:24 PM) Jailbreaking , heh. Lets wait and see if it can be jailbroken or if apple decided to close that as well. They are going to lose a number of people if the thing is not jailbreakable. Some may disagree but there are group of people out there would buy it if its possible to jailbreak The reason why I jailbreaked my 3G is mainly to have the cute SBSettings menu which allows me to switch on/off wifi , bluetooth and not to mention the ability to SSH to my iPhone to transfer data in/out.

Anyhow those who are thinking of getting the iPhone 4 , well if this is your first iPhone purchase ,go ahead and get it. Honestly the thing that keeps it fun is the apps for it. Seriously there are tons and tons of applications for the platform.
However if you're using 3G/3GS and still in contract then you might wanna wait first before jumping as most likely there would be a newer model coming next year or two. Especially those who bought 3gs recently. If money is not a problem for you and you like it , go ahead.
As for me , I guess I gotta bid farewell to this platform and give google a shot. But first I am going to test it on the iPhone first , the OS - just to determine if its pretty good or not

Oh bythe way its microSIM , most likely we'll have to cut our SIM cards before it would work , or is maxis/digi or anyone else providing microSIM cards. You gotta keep that in mind as well No point in getting US units unless there is an unlock for it. Even there is , you gotta be careful when upgrading firmwares. So its better to opt for factory unlocked iPhone sets
