QUOTE(ktooken @ Apr 9 2010, 02:57 AM) so long they are still selling buttloads of iphone 3Gs, i don't think they will bother with iphone 4G yet, as the costs of making iphone 3Gs go down, they still selling same price = profit. probably iphone 4G when they need to fight competitor hardware I honestly don't mind if they don't come up with a newer iPhone yet. I just started owning one at the start of this year. Added on April 9, 2010, 3:10 amFor those who missed the live show, check out this page for coverage on some key features in the OS 4. QUOTE(hihihehe @ Apr 9 2010, 10:03 AM) looks like multitasking not affect the performance of iphone 3gs so much...not bad..i love the UI effect when open n close apps Apple has always been pretty good with utilizing hardware. Take their Macs for example. I don't think they'd create something that didn't give their consumers a "smooth" experience when using their product. |

QUOTE(mrportable @ Apr 9 2010, 10:14 AM) its a joy seeing 4.0 is coming, will definitely upgrade to 4.0 when its released. don't even need jailbreak for 4.0, but too bad i really hope the new os would support transfering files over bluetooth Yeah, that's a feature that the iPhone has been lacking since day 1. And I don't think they plan on implementing it anytime soon as well. But I think most of us iPhone users have grown to get used to it. Right? |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 8 2010, 11:28 AM) The problem IMHO is that it's iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 so if you wanna use that, the other person needs to be using an iPhone 4 too!!! Is it? It's not compatible with other phone brands? |

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jun 8 2010, 11:33 AM) i prefer android with lots of widgets and can customized it..and it is "open" The iPhone is a more consumer-friendly phone. That's why it is not as "open" as the Android. Apple is all about customer satisfaction.android is not perfect but same with iOS4... i owned iphone 3g for 1 year+ and i guess time to make a change with other OS i just choose a phone that suitable for me.. |

QUOTE(aleluya @ Jun 11 2010, 10:15 AM) Argghhh just kinda curious why bluetooth is meant for iPhone to iPhone only. There's always emailing for pictures. Either that, or MMS. Sometimes I wanna get a pic from my family, the only thing that works is through MMS; but odd thing is when I MMS back to them, they can't read it. Hmmm.. or perhaps there's an apps solution or anything (Non-JB)? Please do advise P.S. Are you guys gonna put a case on the new iPhone 4? I was thinking about forgetting the case since both the front and back are made of glass. My current iPhone doesn't have any scratches on the front and there's no screen protector. |

QUOTE(Joey87 @ Jun 11 2010, 10:33 AM) It's taking so long to reach Malaysia...i feel like getting it from Australia or Singapore...but....we don't have the microSIM yet, eh? >.< Search up "maxis micro sim" or "digi micro sim". Apparently Maxis is introducing microSIM for iPad users?Edit: QUOTE Jean-Pascal Van Overbeke, Chief Operating Officer of Maxis, said, "Maxis welcomes iPad 3G owners with the introduction of the micro SIM in Malaysia. Maxis customers will be the first in Malaysia to be able to purchase the micro SIM by just walking into any of our 31 Maxis centres nationwide. We are pleased to be the first to offer this convenience to customers in Malaysia who are looking forward to the best technologies and services compatible with the latest telecommunications devices. A recent report predicts that smart phones of the near future will very likely be adopting the micro SIM as a standard feature[1]. Maxis is pleased to be able to meet the future needs of our customers today." Source This post has been edited by objectifyme: Jun 11 2010, 10:37 AM |

QUOTE(aleluya @ Jun 11 2010, 11:58 AM) I just pointed out that when we send MMS to other phone, they can't read it but iPhone can read MMS from other phone. Perhaps their MMS settings are not configured properly. Might wanna look into that.Odd isn't it >.< E-mailing doesn't apply to everyone, my parents are definitely out of that. |

Has anyone here watched WWDC 2010? There's a part in the conference where Steve makes a video call to the Apple designer, Jonathan Ive. If you noticed, Jonathan said:
QUOTE(Jonathan Ive) It's sort of odd, isn't it? Because as, you know, the idea of communicating this way - it's an old idea. It's one that we're familiar with. We've just had to wait an awfully long while for it to become real, haven't we? It's nothing big, but it left Steve speechless. I bet he regretted calling Johnny.
