Standby Time - 300 hours
iPhone 4
Talktime - 14 hours
Video - 10 hours
Audio - 40 hours
Standby Time - 300 hours
Based on this you can roughly tell that the iPhone 4 uses more juice... so it could be more of a hardware thing rather than an OS issue.
