IMO, Iphone 3g not support multitasking due to the processor (420mhz) and 128mb memory. Even play some more memory consuming game also can hang/auto close so how can it support multitasking.

Apple always treat 2 generation machine with no Key features..

how many background? in OS 4 they can run 4 (showed in the demo)

Yup, but at least os 4 can run 4 and i 100% sure 3g phone will crash kau kau...lol

Iphone 4 definitely i like it. It much way more better than 3GS. Plan to get it as well

Anyway, upgrading the OS will void warranty? unless is physical damage and Jailbreak, i don't think warranty can be void by upgrading OS provided Apple.

So far as record, apple new phone the price is not more than 2.5k with contact in malaysia..

1 more option, wait until feb/march, where they plan to release another new phone, the old 1 will drop till 1.3 to 1.5k like now.
