QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Jun 8 2010, 06:02 PM) Maybe you might not know this, many manufacturers have the price protection policy, that is any leftover stock would be retuned back so that the TELCO's dont lose out, any Telco wont just sign up for apple knowing that they would lose out, think of it in this way app developers get a 70% cut out of app sales, whatever apple makes goes to maintenance of servers and service. Added on June 8, 2010, 6:05 pm the game center how does it work » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « nothing there now, just sign up and it lets you add friends. i think its like apple's official version of open feint. |

@tinkerbel i dont think the game center is for downloading games. its just like xbox live, so far no existing app uses this game center, so i guess we'll have to wait till the new apps are submitted after june 10th.

QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Jun 8 2010, 06:35 PM) guys be warned that teh installing of iOS4 and teh subsequent problems resulting from it will nullify your warranty shud u go to any of the Digi or Maxis centers. Was it stated in the Maxis EULA or iOS 4 GM EULA? Because i do not remember reading anything about voiding the warranty? And if some physical damage which is covered under the warranty happens, after restoration to 3.1.3, how would maxis staff be aware of the upgrade? |

QUOTE(samchong87 @ Jun 8 2010, 07:03 PM) Up to you, nimrod said it would void your warranty if anything happens to the phone and you cant fix it and you are not a developer.Anyway to download the GM release you need a dev account. Or you could find a torrent. Anyway, the gm release does not require a uuid so normal users can upgrade. The gm release should be safe as they are probably gonna release the same build to the public on the 21st. |
