how it works?

here's an example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BFv-S9wKq8 Record and Combine!!

since you can play lead.. just find second, bass, drum, piano(not major) and vocalist

the easiest place to find these people.. Youtube!! ... lolol

Icon got 2 studio, the cheap one and the expensive one.

The expensive one is RM38 per hour, but both amp is Marshall brand, and Hartke bass amp. The drumset is Pearl brand as I remembered. The stompboxes consist of many effects.  However the room is too big and the position of the amp causing the sound to be not amplified properly.

But if you all are not looking into brand instead of sound quality, I would recommend Studio B, the cheap one. RM28 per hour. The room space have catered for the sound amplification produced by the amps, thus creating a balance and nice sound eventhough all the amps are Behringer brand. Only necessary gadgets are provided in the stompboxes (besides, our guitarist wouldnt use all those delay, hyper super metal effect, flanger and nonsense effect rite?). I dun know about the satisfication regarding on the drumset coz I'm no drummer but according to my drummer from the other band, he's satisfied with it.

You can try calling this person for query and booking. Mike = 017-6989189

However, if u have any recommendation on other studio at Puchong besides Icon, might as well we try it.

wow... it's rm38 and rm28 per hour here... lol.. never experience that, when in my hometown ago the session only rm10,15,20 per hours.. didn't realize it's so much different here.. well, since moved to Cheras, I've never had any opportunity for a jam session.. maybe that's why I felt like that was to much for a hour .. tongue.gif

well good luck on your practice.. thumbup.gif

Hi everyone, I want to say thanks for the lass session. It was my first after a year break. I believe it's easier to just to call me as Geek instead of Geekzone.. it's shorter and I used to it..lol

but I need to apologize, although I received the song list, I'm unable to have a long practice session due to got sick for the last few days. Till now the sneezing and the coughing won't stop.

Since I just a backup, I don't think it would be a problem and Brian can play better than me and you already have 2-3 guitarist..lol.. I think I might be able to cure before next session, but with short amount of practice maybe it'll not going smooth as plan

for the moment.. only finished 40% in the list..

@Geekzone, probably you shud proceed your program with ur friend. Looking on the bright side, It may be a good idea to have more time on practicing the remaining 60%. Like I said, we r not rushing anything. There is always  another week.
I don't know if I can fully finish the other 60%.. Songs like Melt or My Love is a Stapler usually took 1 hour each.. but song like bad apple and native faith.. I'm guessing it might take longer than that... I'm not Sasuke type sweat.gif I know don't need to rush.. but when I've complete all of them.. I have one song request.. only 1.. tongue.gif never try to practice it but I just wanna try it cos the difficulty might make lead and rythm cry.... lol but that's if you'll want to play it.. it's still anime OST.. I'll give the name of the song after the task is done.. teehee..

komuter means KTM?? is there a station called maluri via KTM ?
*
Komuter = KTM...

I'm afraid I can't help much.. I only moved here 8 months ago.. the only way I can think of.. take the KTM to Bandar Tasek Selatan.. Ironically, you from Shah Alam coming here this Saturday.. while I'm from here, going to Shah Alam this Saturday laugh.gif

and 5-7pm sounds good to me.. why don't every week start at 5-7pm oso.. tongue.gif

Only one guitar though. Because from what I saw, the owner invested the studio more on the amp and gadgets, but not the guitar. Only 1 electric guitar is provided, others are acoustic guitars. FYI, u definitely couldnt borrow Mudmaniac's guitar unless u are a lefthanded person.
*
hmm... that's the only thing I didn't satisfy with that place.. during last visit, only saw 1 electrical guitar, 1 acoustic and 1 Bass.. don't know if I miss others.. but the amp and gadget kinda good.. so 50/50 situation ler... thumbup.gif

Sometimes i feel a little sad because I cannot try other ppl's guitars. Must always bring my own.

I wonder if there would have been any difference if i had decided to just start learning on a normal guitar.
palm muting is a little hard to do intermittedly. Need practice... but lazy always end up trying to do that harmonic sound.
*
left handed guitarist is sick(in a good way) it's not everyday you meet one..

for palm muting and pinch harmonic training this video might help..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m94d-Lb97to

the riff have palm muting and pinch harmonic.. it's like double the training..

the situation is different with me.. I'm a left-handed guy with a right handed guitar.. it's just that long ago there's only right handed guitars in my house and all belong to my brothers.. so I don't think I want to spend some money on it and ended up learning how to play with their guitars.. lol.. maybe.. just maybe.. if I encounter left handed guitar before, I ended up being able to play left hand..

and don't worry.. you'll able to make it.. just a matter of time and no stop halfway..

@Brian.. for My Soul and Your Beats Mix..

I think this one good cos it's not an edited like the rest in youtube.. just played live..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXvHv7BxUNs

what I didn't like about it.. it's kinda throw away the piano to much.. unlike this edited version..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1Jtrga2nPw

so which one you prefer.. or make our own arrangement? sweat.gif

plus I need your help in configuring the rhythm part so we'll can learn this fast like you did with Shine Days.. tongue.gif

I still didn't figure out the lead yet..
