Since I had left the band, the least thing I can do to help out is listing potential event that you guys can perform.
1. KONMAS in Shah Alam - By UniSel and Putranime forum. If you guys wanna perform, have someone contact desu! since they already give out official band list. 2. C2age in Tropicana Mall - If you guys are cunning enough to get a spot, it's worth a try but you need to decide things up since it's near and for now all the performance slot is already book. You'll know what I mean here http://forums.c2age.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14 3. Taylor's Asaban Fest - well, they pretty much had their own anime band so again, if you guys are serious please ask. 4. Animangaki - the least place I recommend since you guys probably need to bring your own equipment like the previous show. 5. Last but not least, I got a confirmation for GAMP. It's not cancelled, will be held on 14th August instead. So do contact them for any further detail. And if you guys are to busy with your own stuff, elect a manager from the band who keeps track of events and handling band upcoming performance. For the time being, just do some video covers consisting of a whole band to let pple know that the band isn't dead and to let pple know the level of the band. And someone do a gddamn facebook/myspace page or something. Spamming band information here is bothersome and make this thread looks like the band personal blog |

Playing the same overplayed anime songs is getting ANNOYING IMO as the spectator POV! For the next event, I have a suggestion that will be an almost impossible attempt to influence the playlist for whatever event set for the local band in the future... but I will say it anyway. Since this band has a tendency to stick to meguriai or t.v. related/overplayed songs...
Ironic thing.... this group is named Bad Apples (obviously referring to that famous shadow PV) but we never even skim the topic of touhou. The band is always talking about mixing those t.v. animoo songs to its own liking to "improve" it so why not touhou? A lot of ZUN's original BGM lay out some crazy base ideas to mix up! Well... I said it. I don't expect much impact but eh. This post has been edited by CDGmaboroshi: Jul 2 2010, 05:14 PM |

To them(or maybe to u), it was referring those shadow touhou pv.But to me, when I 1st heard the word Bad Apples, I was like hearin a GAR band.Coz I thought it was named after a song called 'Bad Apples' from my favourite oldschool rock band, Guns n' Roses.Ironic thing.... this group is named Bad Apples (obviously referring to that famous shadow PV) but we never even skim the topic of touhou. again... it was a suggestion. no harm intended. don't go totally antagonist on me now.
What kind of a band is a band dictated by only one member? A band consists of multiple people and brainstorming of multiple opinions/thoughts. and ofcourse it's also important how well a band plays. Just by being in any band, there's an unreasonable need to improve. That's the reason why you practice... obviously? Anyways, to the point! I'm just questioning IF it's possible for you guys to play something 'different' other than playing the same k-on songs ova and ova x3. I believe I atleast have the right to voice out suggestions that is intended for the benefit of the band. geez. making me sound like a moral queer. |

well u can voice out your mind. but knowing them, is something different. the songs picked from certain anime. they didn't meet from any random gath. they all meet here. in anime shrine in person and i real life. take an example on how brian got adapted to the group. because he can play and he want to play with them. that's it. this band is young but they got the potential to go further.
