it's ok..well heard some most you want to update the current song list into something different. Therefore I would suggest you guys start posting yt video here. Something that is easy to play would be strongly recommended. I would like to hear what cover you're interested in

btw I've chose my selection since someone was in urge to do touhou instrumental theme. Given some thought about it, why not

Well Marisa has longer hair which significantly give a distinct look. To be frank there's was something that puzzles me thinking of rumia and parsee were identical, couple months ago I was playing this diablo like touhou game. I was trying to finish up killing all the monsters in the cave dungeon together with parsee theme playing in the background. Then suddenly the boss showed up, and I'm pretty doubtless It looks like rumia.

Maybe because of the graphic is kinda shitty anyway. Thus, it was kind of confusing to determine which boss I was fighting. >_>

btw, you live at shah alam rite?..
how far can you travel to go for jamming?

QUOTE(Mudmaniac @ Oct 18 2011, 12:16 PM)
My pinch is only about 40% effective, but just enough to create an interesting sound on the harmonic rhythm. I am liking this sound sooo much.....
Wondering if pinch will work with Melt.

I don't remember there's a pinch harmonics in melt especially in rhythm..unless you can magically pull the lead part in all sudden then yes, you can add pinch harmonics in it but I don't think you can play the lead part at all with your current level..besides, I need your confidence on playing the rhythm cuz rhythm is important for me to keep track my tempo while I'm playing the drum.

sorry, Maluri station is known as Maluri LRT station. See that yellow color line on the map, if you can get there to Maluri..it would be so much easier for us to fetch you since the jamming place is only 500 meter from the station

and btw about the guitar you can either bring it or not bring it..the studio owner has an epifone for everyone to use it fyi >.>

@Moboroshi: whatever, at least I know why my yamaha pedal rated so high compared to other pedal I use : D

Alright Bad Apples members listen up, I know most of you are kinda illiterate about touhou doujin arrangement music but I can see there are interest on you to play the cover. Be advise that most touhou arrangement are not easy kind of song for your level but there are few that are playable which I really need you guys to choose the song for jamming wisely. Touhou by nature are ridiculously hard to master, which is why I think the song genre separates the level of creativity beyond the boundaries than any other mainstream songs that I have heard. They even have their own meme of why touhou does not meant to be played on easy level.

If you play on easy mode, women will make fun of the size of your di.ck for the rest of your life. -Touhoufag

Iron Maiden, Metallica, Justin beaver, even most of anime songs out there you name it, there's nothing that can beat the level of touhou arrangements currently imho.

Secondly, I would like stress out that before you start playing a touhou cover, please at least to get to know in more depth about touhou characters. You want to complete that love of touhou, then you should put your effort to incite curiosity in touhou. For instance, Who's theme character you're listening? where they belongs? what is their relation in Gensokyo, ect. Because I see there's no point of playing touhou cover without knowing anything about touhou. You can look over touhou characters info from the list here. http://touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Characters . Characters that have most and the latest green check marks are popular ones. Browse each of their individual theme song in the character page and listen to it. If you can't find the music section in character page, you can either go to youtube and type "(character name) theme". Identify which theme you're interested with and also try to look for arrangement for that character theme. Remember, choose the arrangement wisely based on your level. Some can be simplified and some cannot. For instance like this one:

If you want me to shit brick then yes, I can play this in a very lulzly way for you. Though, I don't think anyone of you can pull the guitar part either.

Lastly, about making our own arrangement of touhou. I wouldn't recommend to do it for now mainly because there are weakness that I see that most of you need to improve which is the basic technique of playing music instrument. Arrangement is like another level for us but before achieving this, you need to understand how to play music perfectly. The basic technique such as palm muting is very important in guitar that drive through the groove and perfection. It is equal as much as I do concern in drum fundamental such as dynamics, tempo, and offbeats. These are the things that are very sensitive in drumming. Therefore, I wouldn't dare to alter anything without a proper understanding about these field. Besides, there quite numbers of easy touhou arrangement on youtube.

for instance like this cover from the band called Kairo, they made the arrangement for Mokou, is kinda awesome imo

and this one V this is such a lovely nue song cover...LOVE IT SO MUCH \^^/
