Yeah just add phone numbers smile.gif

I sent them an email months ago on the beta tester thingy, now that they've released it, I doubt they're still looking for testers though. I was curious to try out WhatsApp at that time cos most of my friends are using it biggrin.gif

Crap phone. Slow, crashes often and poor battery life. Not to mention, dust will get inside the display.

My previous E61 can last 2 days with BT on and dust don't get inside the screen. Nokia told me it is by 'design'.

No more E series for me. Crap product by crap company.

My solution: I removed WhatsApp. Haha. Somemore I got 3 friends only. Unless I have many friends inside then its ok to leave it connected to wifi/3g 24hrs. Heeee.

Wow, you must have gotta a bad lemon I guess. My battery life is 3 days on normal usage or sms/calls. One data, 1 day. 3G eats more battery of course, but still, E71 is one of the best phone from Nokia.

I didn't get dust inside the screen also... biggrin.gif

I set the settings to 'Always Ask' under connection. When the pop-up thingy came up, close it.

Like this. It's quite okay, but there's no option to close the app, so i find it annoying cos my data line is always connected. So i set it to 'Always Ask' for connection... smile.gif

Hee, tried it yesterday la. Jbaktaskman didn't detect the running app (whatsapp), unless we know the running process. hee.

What lame reasoning...

I carry both E61 and E71 at my workplace and yes, it is dusty (sometimes). The iPhone 3GS, N97 and even N81 (used by workers) do not have dusty screens.

But, E61 despite being drop here and there (heavily abused), still no dust underneath the screen. E71 full of dust and already cleaned twice at Nokia Care. The tech told me it is by 'design'. They even checked the whole phone for probs and certified ok. Mine is original from AVAXX. Everything is 100% original from battery to memory card.

As for firmware, I'm using the very latest with NO 3rd party apps.

Having said, it is a CRAP phone! Battery life worse than E61 with BT switched on.

So, if it is not faulty and 100% original, what gives?

I believe those who do not complaint are those working in office cubicles. If u like me who always travel and working in every kind of environment be it dusty or clean, this phone is CRAP. The E61 is still alive and kicking btw (already 4 years old with same original battery as Day 1). Only issue is the elusive BP-5L battery. No one seems to sell it anymore.

So, if E61 can last so long and screen is 100% dust-free, what is the problem with E71? CRAP engineering by CRAP (or FAILED) engineers, I supposed. Nokia cannot explain to me. Dealer don't know how to help me. All they can tell me after warranty, everything must charge... even for cleaning the screen. WTF?

For now, no more Nokia. Should change the name to CHOKIA instead.
