I see. My sister finally came up to a decision and she's going for Nokia x6. But on the other hand..Vivaz is getting a bad reputation as I see the forums in SE website. LOL

It seems that the users were asking for a firmware update to Symbian 3 which includes multitouch. And the spokesman of SE said something like no updating to Symbian 3 on old phones. Here http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-09-2...n-products.html
*
well x6 not bad but theres no memory card slot as a connection, it use internal memory[depends on version, 8/16/32]
good music phone[nice & loud stereo loudspeaker with 3.5mm audiojack]with nice camera[5mp AF+Dual LED Flash, quality is pretty nice]

free ovi maps[not voice guided 1], but no DivX/XviD video support, the flash browser is kinda dodgy...sometimes fail to load...
No office document viewer preinstalled, image gallery is slow..loading a picture takes a couple of seconds even for small images. If you have a large amount of photos it might take ages before the thumbnails are generated @@

well actually C6 is kinda familiar or can call it as an upgraded X6 also replacement of N97 , the web browser flash support isnt dodgy anymore, camera is somewhat like X6 which sounds good, free voice guided navigation! slide-out Qwerty keypad which good for those who suffer from software keyboard~3.5mm audiojack is there, supports 16gb microSD card[2gb included]
one thing it lose to X6 is the loudspeaker loudness is average compare to X6~

hmm, symbian ^3 upgrade also not much available for some phones though~
of course user hope to get symbian ^3 for their awesome symbian HD phone[vivaz]

i not mean it laggy but...
we had a miserable experience with YouTube (and the other video sharing sites we tested). Half the time, the player wouldn't even load and when it did, simply turning the phone in landscape orientation was enough to crash the browser.

Another disadvantage of the web browser concerns the kinetic scrolling - it is certainly a nice feature to have on board and all but its implementation in the web browser needs polishing. The scrolling is there but it lacks the momentum you see when scrolling listed items in the menu and you'll need several sweeps for even moderately-sized pages.

improved usability is a nice start but it's nowhere near the iPhone or Android standards. The same goes for the resolution, which is a lot better than the QVGA non-touch predecessors but hardly a match for WVGA.

Need recommendation for a phone

was thinking of 1st getting X10 mini pro but then i went and test it out it was too small for my hands sweat.gif
so i thought of getting Vivaz pro
but then i went and search around garage sales and got intrsted with HTC Legend 2nd hand within my reach
compared to symbian OS, android seems to be more appealing to me with a bunch of apps avail
though im not really sure about the apps especially if most of the apps are best used with a 24 hour internet connection

personally i prefer legend as i like to tweak stuffs though i aint a post-paid user with data plan or so, im not sure if its suitable for prepaid users like me
though i dont mind using wifi laugh.gif

Should i get the HTC legend or vivaz pro?

Budget : rm1000+-
Specs : nice camera, music player, nice interface, wifi

TL;DR

Prepaid user, Vivaz pro or HTC legend?

Hey guys, i need recommendation here.
I don't really care about what brand but as long as it is reliable then i can afford it. but not the china phone one. i'm sick of it lol.

so i don't have any budget yet. just spill out what u got for me.

specs:
- superb organizer
-> has notes/todo list that can be shown in stand by mode (or note app can be shown in standby mode shortcut link ok too)
->calendar so i can write some notes there
-> multi alarm

- editable shortcut on standby mode
- wifi as usual
- camera with decent pixels

most of all
- PDF reader (no memory full and shits tongue.gif)

that's all i need ; an organizer/scheduler and PDF reader to read ebook easier biggrin.gif
