Hey guys. Is Sony Ericsson Aino good? As in terms of durability. My sis gonna use it mostly for the GPS and Wifi. And if you know some dealers which may have this phone model please pm me

Hmm...cause my sis like the design and things like that. Is there any phones out there that has the almost same function (touch screen, wifi, GPS durability and so on) and the price is almost the same, considering original and AP.

I did some research on the models you mentioned earlier (as well as a member did before this). The thing is I talked to my sis about the Aino that it's not really good she just denies it and want it so much. Is it THAT bad?

I just been wondering why does Vivaz pro original set is cheaper than Vivaz original?
>U5I (VIVAZ) @ RM 945 / 1160 (ORI) U8I (VIVAZ PRO) @ RM 998 / 1150 (ORI) Shouldn't the qwerty pad make it even more expensive? The design of the phone is a little bit, not nice imo. I think my sister would say the same =/ |

Oh? I see.
While I'm researching for the phone for my sister, it seems like I found my target and somehow wanted to buy it. XD Added on September 24, 2010, 3:19 pmI just went to a shop selling Vivaz and Aino. He say that Aino's touch screen only apply to camera and browsing pictures. Is that true? (seem like a point to argue with my sis) One more thing, I saw the Vivaz screen. A little small compared to the one in the images I saw in the net =.=... This post has been edited by clon12: Sep 24 2010, 03:19 PM |

According to a review I saw in trustedreview.com, it was said that Aino is better than Vivaz (or Vivaz Pro) by 1 point meaning Aino had 8/10 and Vivaz had 7/10. I saw a video about Vivaz and when it opens twitter and was like scrolling down it seems a little slow (or rather laggy).

I see. My sister finally came up to a decision and she's going for Nokia x6. But on the other hand..Vivaz is getting a bad reputation as I see the forums in SE website. LOL
It seems that the users were asking for a firmware update to Symbian 3 which includes multitouch. And the spokesman of SE said something like no updating to Symbian 3 on old phones. Then wildfire could be my other choice than vivaz. It's a good phone overall and I like the design (almost similar to Desire, only the size
But still, I like the most is the multitouch function |

QUOTE(adrianccseng @ Sep 27 2010, 10:42 PM) another vote to Nokia X2 here!! Wildfire is for me well, its the best for bucks~ awesome camera with such low budget![5mp+LED flash] theres a memory card slot, uncle can put tons of songs with the max support of 16gb microSD!! got 3.5mm audiojack which makes uncle can use custom earphones Added on September 27, 2010, 10:48 pm what else could that be? SE XPERIA x10 mini Pro Added on September 27, 2010, 11:04 pm if its for your sister, wildfire is a no go... the gps is costly @@ cant install free garmin like vivaz/having free navigation preinstalled[free ovi maps-nokias] desire runs a faster proc[1ghz] instead of wildfire's 528mhz thats y wildfire has a nick called desire mini.. well if u dun care the camera, wildfire will be fine... since androids are kinda famous is good web browsing, theres another androids in 1k budget[x10 mini/mini pro, cam is good but 2.1 upgrade still need some patience & the screen is small .-. [2.55"] Added on September 27, 2010, 11:07 pm if cameraphone, obviously its Vivaz... the OS is smoother than C6, also it plays/records HD video[even DivX/XviD files] Vivaz support up to 32gb microSD card while C6/Vivaz pro only support up to 16gb... C6 cant play the DivX/XviD files though Added on September 27, 2010, 11:07 pm nokia x2 dual speaker... loud & nice what do you mean by free garmin (I really don't get it on the first time you said it) and the free navigation. Free navigation means something like aGPS? I did some x10 mini/pro research. I was really fed up with its tiny size and toy-like structure =.=. All I care for my phone is lagless, able to surf web smoothly, decent size of screen and multitouch. Those basic needs like calls and sms don't include in my list XD This post has been edited by clon12: Sep 28 2010, 06:54 PM |
