QUOTE(moe81 @ Jul 12 2010, 11:40 PM) Lily pipe... it creates a vortex in the surface of the water sucking all the oil and stuff floating on the surface into the body of the water which will allow your filter to filter it out...http://www.aquatic-plants.org/gallery/album42 Heres the link, check it out... Got the eheim 2213 but can't hook it up cause my tank all the way in KT... @Michanz, how come your lily pipe picture so clear and close up one??? Since we're on the topic of Co2, I got some questions 1) We only require a manual regulator to operate a co2 tank is it? 2) How come the regulator in the picture got no gauge one? Do we need both high pressure and low pressure gauge? 3) Do some regulator come with needle valve? I'm very confused about the regulator... I know about the bubble counter, the check valve, the co2 reactor, co2 diffuser but the manual regulator puzzles me... This post has been edited by radver: Jul 13 2010, 12:43 AM |

QUOTE(nicotine @ Jul 13 2010, 05:18 AM) i'm quite intrested on the canister type eheim classis 2213, is it adequate for a 2 feet tank ? does it come with filtration materials ? Adequate or not depends on your scape, thats what I found out after researched all the 2213 and 2215 users opinion, the filtration material that comes with the 2213 is only 5 blue coarse sponge, 1 fine wool sponge, 1 carbon sponge and thats all. You need to get your own biological filtration media like eheim substrate pro or ADA bio rio, depends on your preferenceQUOTE(loon1031 @ Jul 13 2010, 08:53 AM) All eheim classic having promotion now, 2213 is selling at RM199 and 2215 at RM299 while stock lastQUOTE(moe81 @ Jul 13 2010, 08:56 AM) Guys, i'll be selling my 4x2x2 curved tank with cabinet soon.. anyone wanna book? Inline diffuser don't create turbulent flow, its just a co2 diffuser build into the outlet tube of your canister filterAdded on July 13, 2010, 10:32 amok another funny question... wud using inline diffuser with lily pipe cause any surface agitation makin it easier for Co2 to escape to atmosphere? or is it fine? Lily pipe also don't create any turbulent flow, the vortex created doesn't actually agitate the water surface also So I think since there is no turbulent flow, there should be no surface agitation and no co2 loss. Its just what I think la. Maybe those out there with a lily pipe and inline diffuser can give a more better answer... I'm just guessing...
