boss fights are easy once you get the hang of it, they have a pattern for every move so u can actually predict them haha what i dont like about the game is when the stage decides to throw multiple hard hitting enemies that can deliver quite a punch like the undead shield lord = =

the abyssal armor cant be carried forward with the pc version =/

now trying on apocalyptic mode, another thing i realized about this game is it gets super easy once you finished it the 1st time. =/

oh so means the option to choose carry forward the abyssal armor is for console version...

Epic ending, can't wait for the sequel, to play using other 3 horsemen ( one horselady though haha)

I give up, damn hard to fight the smaller worm, the big worm is easy to attack.

Use the pistol, ride the RUIN (the horse), Press Shift key all the time, it will auto aim...just riding around and start shooting...

aiks talk about the worm fight, stupid me i only realize that we can just press and hold the firing button and War will auto fire his pistol, I keep tapping it all the time and thus very low rate of fire, took me around 20mins to finish off the worm.

Don't forget to charge your Ruin. Your Ruin can temporary charge up very fast and out run both big and small worms.


Hahaha during my first attempt to the boss worm, I encountered a bug where my War fell off his horse (the metal mask of that worm had been took off) and that worm just surround me, eat it's own tail and encircled me, I can't attack it in all case and no choice have to reload the game.

aiks i miss it out... ... but my chaoseater gain exp much faster after i got the war's glory enhancement just go back some area to slash those lesser demon and gain extra exp + soul.

Hard to dodge it.

activated ur stone skin. (ok i invested a lot on stoneskin, it's lvl 4 when i reach her...)

when u reached that level u should have tons of lives stone and wrath lvl upgrade, with ur stoneskin activated u should able to withstand lots of dmg and kill her. (I whacked her in first attempt)

Remember, never bother activated ur chaos form, wont touch her at all. just keep dodging.

Well its fine not to have stoneskin though. When you see she's teleporting, go to her previous position, confirm she won't stand at the same position twice. keep dodging until she go back to her original place, then you should know what to do.

I realize the most easiest boss is in fact.... THE LASS BOSS... o gosh, I didn't use any skill, I just whack, it only took me 3 lifes ( total got 8 or 9 forgot ) to kill him. =.=

The hammer quest where you kill the angel with another big guy ( forgot name ), where I keep dying there due to too many enemies at one place. I think that part is kinda hard to me.

I really like this game quite alot, gameplay, story are very interesting. That time i thought i need to fight against that red hell demon, in fact I was wrong haha. Story really make me unpredict thing easily. XD

Did anyone purchase all the skill? I lazy to farm those soul again. ( hitting wreckage car or stuff only get little of them ).

haha talk about the 'easy last boss', it reminds me of painkiller.... which the final boss requires only 1 shot if u know how.

anyway back to darksider, yep teh graphic might be dated, but the story/ background is great, and the 'design graphic', i means the details and everything else is great. ppl who look at it and shout 'OMG this is old graphic, i gotta stick to ma crysis' is fool.

the big guy should be Uthane. I died once on that path too, but it will be far easier if you just use the Redeemer canon dropped by the first angel and blast your way out, and confirm can beate Uthane in the 'plucking the pigeon' competition.

Hey guys I went and read the wikia of darksider and 1 thing very funny, it says Samael tempted (and enjoyed) Eve, afterward Eve pregnant and give birth to the first Nephilim race. (The 4 horsemen are nephilim), then later on on the Nephilim page it says it's a race 'Older than heaven and hell, angels and demon' erm.... self-paradox?

If you mean wrath powers then yes, I purchased all of them.

Of the 4 affliction is teh best and most powerful, its basically a multi hit homing missile, unleash 2 or 3 at one time and you can see everything start falling like flies.

During the Black Hammer quest, try not to rush too far in front, you got a lot more angels to kill compared to the big guy, so try to move slow and steady and don't forget that you can dash when using the cannon, so look for cover, dash out, shoot and dash in for cover or just dash around to avoid damage. Try to use charged shot as often as you can since it can take out the normal angels in 1 shot and stun most of them nearby. Charged shot stuns those angels with shield as well.

Edit: there are a few places where you can farm for souls and lvl up your weapons, 1 is at the Jailer, it will keep summon those skeletons as long as you kill all of them and it is alive. Another will be at the Dark Throne where the 2 big armored skeletons with hammer spawns. The smaller monsters will keep spawning as long as teh big guy is alive.

aiyo i din't use affliction at all, gotta go farm some souls for it. but i upgraded my stoneskin to max... ... and i want abbysal armor!

anyway who likes to upgrade those combo? for me i luv to chain as many hit as possible just for the lulz, like:

Swing > pause > swing > shift + back + swing > hold hit button > dash + hit button

it will be like:
sword swing > multiple sword swinging > multiple hit up the enemy and launch war himself up > on air, spinning the blade and cut down the enemy > while enemy laydown, dash forward and thrust it.

I like this combo a lot but when my sword upgraded, most of the lesser demon can't survive after 3 move in the combo.

another option is like: (need tremor gauntlet)

swing > pause > swing > hold the swing button to launch the enemy onto air while war stand still > hold dash + right mouse.

This will do the multiple punch finishing when the enemy landed. quite a cool one instead.

my opinion on the abyssal armor is, i wasted my time getting it, yes it sure looked awsm when war is wearing it but it made the game less fun, the armor absorbed tons of damage and i don even bothered dodging the enemy's attack. the legendary enhancements though, are a must get, invest your time in getting them cuz their passive abilities rox!

btw i rarely use any wrath powers haha... though i tried stone skin before and its useful to soak damage.

fav'ed combo is <chaoseater>: normal attack, pause, normal attack, pause, normal attack, swing to air, normal attack, normal attack, normal attack, scythe, normal attack(hold).
