Get the 1.1 Update. It fixes alot of crashing problems.

I've played like 10min like that. I found out that the gameplay is quite nice and fun. Since the graphic is abit too plain due to the PS3 game itself, even compare with DMC, it still has alot of improvement going on. Control wise, it is still fine. A lot of glitches though, but overall is a fun game to me. Worth to play.

already got my hand to this game.

graphic is hellishly dissapointing.

this is the only game i can think to compare the graphic with darksiders



as for gameplay,GOW's vibe is too strong in this.with a mix of DMC.
I mean, War EVEN have Dante's Rebellion basic combo moveset animation.

I dunno what else to say,i give this game 7.8.

Just received my Darksiders DVD with the free lenticular mousepad.

Can anyone show me where I can get the patch from?

From the back of teh DVD casing, I saw the message "Online Steam account required", does that means I need a Steam account and be online all teh tiem when I played?

Thanks for the reply but I just found out last night that I can't even install the game without an Internet connection, so no slashing demons for me until I get my connection fixed. F*** the DRM.

After 25 hours playing, i beat the game on EASY mode. Overall good gameplay and the storyline although the graphic quite out dated. Now try to play on NORMAL mode but sadly cannot carry all the XP, the armor and so on which have been collected to other mode of difficulty. Which mean have to start all over again.. Not like POP: TFS. Maybe after this I will need 50 hours to play in NORMAL mode.

A lot of funny things happened when I play the game for the first time.

When I played for the first time, War starts the game without his sword.

So in order to proceed, I need to dash and ram the big guy till he is dead.

Then when I take the right turn, I got stuck there because the angels decide to take a slack and refuse to fight me.

So after 2 hours of trying to proceed (I thought I need to solve some puzzle to proceed), I look for the walkthrough and found that things are not suppose to be that hard (OMGWTFPWNED).

Now that I patched the game, things are going fine and the gameplay is great. The characters are original and I think I fall in love with the Watcher.

ok fought the 2nd boss, general smth, quite a brainless but fun hack and slash game. and I love the background environment design, reminds me of castlevania.

i got WMP11. doesn't seem to fix it. anyway, i found the solution. start the game from the steamapps folder.

This is the second action game that gives me headache after Soul Reaver.

FYI, the General is just a mini boss, a simple easy one.

I just started playin this game recently, I'm at the boss right after War and Ruin reunited. The stupid big worm, I dont know how to kill that thing.. any advice? :S

Run beside it's head and slash at the metal helmet to take it off, then the real fight begins.

ok my bad, too quitck to judge, some puzzle in the hallow really drive me off. (but still manage to pass it and screw Griever)

But hey now you mention it, I notice this game A LOT LIKE SOUL REAVER.

Common pointbtwn this game and Soul Reaver:

1. They way you defeat enemy, larger enemy requires you to stun them before you can deliver a killing blow. Just like Soul Reaver.
2. Puzzle Boss fight.
3. The way he devouring defeated enemy's soul (but also similiar to onimusha)
4. The way they hidden bonus upgrade in world map.

I found this game is really fun to play, and nice graphic in my eye (not that 'reality' but 'beautiful art')
I think end of this week i will go buy ori as supporting to this company. I dowan another Legacy of Kain case happen again.

also i read the abyssal armor guide, i tot this set of armor can be carried on for 2nd round game?
