I find 3kim really expensive nowadays.

I used them before some years back and they were fine but recently I had a pretty big job which cost in the region of +/- 10k and instead of just handing it over to 3kim I decided to call a few and compare.

3kim was easily the most expensive and the difference was closer to RM2k more expensive than the rest.

Well 3kim were the first I got the quotation from and being a 3kim customer before you should know how detailed their itemized quotations are.

I took the exact same specs on their quotation including exact measurements/material/thickness/finishing and gave it to other vendors and not only were their estimate quotations cheaper, after onsite assessment, even cheaper after negotiating with them. FYI their not run of the mill steel vendors but those as big as 3kim as well with own factories etc.

Tried to negotiate with 3kim for a better price but guess how much discount they give from quoted price? Rounded down RM40 for a >RM10k job My as well don't give any discount man.
