What you guys think about mesh grille? The pros and cons maybe.

I love minimalist design hence i am into mesh grille.

Contacted Three Kim and got the price in sqft as follows.

Door Grille @ RM25/sf
Window Grille @ RN23/sf

Powder coated with additional RM2.50/sf

Anyone has exprience using invisible grille for condos ?
Care to share ?
Its quite popular in Singapore

I am looking into getting one

I am using it right now for my condo.

Pros:

. Minimalist design and serve the purpose

Cons:

. Super hard/impossible to clean your windows. My 5 years stay in my condo and i only clean it once. tongue.gif You can request for the panel to be flexible thou - can open/close.
. Dust/Dirt traps at the gaps between the grille and window panel. Have to vacuum regularly.

How much U paid for the invincible grille? I asked before, it's around rm150psqf, which I think Is very expensive.

Need to check back. If i remember correctly is slightly more expensive than normal grille. It was 5 years back.

Yeah it might take 2 -3 weeks for upon payment but to me its worth waiting .
Great service by them for fixing the grille at my new investment condo . I was so busy during that month they even came to collect the key from me and then pass back to me when it was done. There was some problem with condo's management as well during the first time of installation process and this causes them to come at 2nd time without complaining . My transaction was just less than RM1k which considered small too .

Yeah, totally agree with you. The waiting time is expected and unavoidable. You cannot expect them to deliver by just giving them a couple of days to complete. Well, you probably can but quality will be a concern.

Just my 2 cents.

Im not siding anyone but u cant blame them . its normal for ppl to refuse to come after working hours . If bank close at 4pm and they dont wait for you , can you be frustrated ? No right . Apply halfday leave or ask someone else to be around during working hours so they can measure for you . You were saying that they responded slow and i assume that u were using FB , email or SMS only . Why not call directly if you r so urgent . Just my 2 cents . Cheers

+1

What i did was to scarify my lunch time for them. icon_rolleyes.gif

so already installed for 6 years can review abit on the product and installer?

Nice to see but hard to clean. Especially when you made it fixed without any opening for you to clean the window. To clean the dust caught in between the window panel and the grille is disaster!

Other than that, it serves its purpose and price is more expensive than normal grille of course.
