For the average Malaysian property owner with an average DSL house, this should be in some ways relevant to those who want to renovate.

It's more practical if you modified the image to make it more "malaysian"
-Add grill all over the window & doors -Add curtain all over the glass so outsiders won't see you naked, and sun shine wont get it. -Add porch to park ur car. nows, this is what we call, "practical" and liveable. This post has been edited by zeese: Apr 1 2010, 12:10 PM |

QUOTE(darylchan @ Apr 1 2010, 11:05 AM) For the average Malaysian property owner with an average DSL house, this should be in some ways relevant to those who want to renovate. Such a small house is available at foreign countries where the land is sacre and expensive. In Malaysia, the land is still relatively cheap, and with such a big land (terrace house for example its around 2,000+ sq.ft.). Why should Malaysian build such a small house?http://dxyn.net/2010/04/lessons-in-modern-...l-house-design/ ^sorry forgot to insert link... updated ![]() Anyway, its indeed a very modern looking house. I love this kind of design. |

QUOTE(darylchan @ Apr 1 2010, 11:05 AM) For the average Malaysian property owner with an average DSL house, this should be in some ways relevant to those who want to renovate. Flat roof? With Malaysian workmanship sure storm water leakage problem. Minimal insulation. http://dxyn.net/2010/04/lessons-in-modern-...l-house-design/ ^sorry forgot to insert link... updated ![]() Big glass windows? It works like a green house, more suitable for temperate zone. Exposed stairways? How to clean effectively? Sofa on the rooftop? Nice to look at, make sure you change the covers daily! Not suitable for Malaysian weather. |
