I haven't touched the game for a day.
May lay it down until CM patches it. Busy hacking zombies... But from the game, I like the Yeognam track... pretty challenging circuit. I think it may need a few modifications in a couple of corners, but otherwise I think when they go down to Korea and race in a month's time, it should be an interesting race (of course, IF the track passes the examination). |

Guys,
I only tested the game once with my G25 over the weekend- I find something 'strange' with the driving dynamics. I switched off all assist (braking, ABS, traction control etc etc except for the pit limiters and yellow flag limiter) - somehow on most corners at the apex during exit if I floor the throttle (with the correct gears offcourse)- the car will not spin out, at most I get some severe oversteer but still manageable - very unlikely for a 800HP, 600kg car without traction controls no matter what kind of gam gajah you pun on those fat tyres. If I can remember correctly there is no way in hell u can do this on the previous F1 games (pre-Sony arcade versions). Any thoughts? Thing is, after GRID I got a bit worried about the realism in Codemaster's game. This post has been edited by zainframe: Sep 29 2010, 04:51 PM |

Aku belum beli lg game ni..tapi previous F1 games, oversteer kalu (even when drive assist =ON), masuk pasir ler jawapnya..dari apa yg Zain cakap tu..tak real ler..kalau F1 tak spin..huhu

QUOTE(zainframe @ Sep 29 2010, 04:49 PM) Guys, ya was somehow surprised at this as well. the car feels a bit like on rails so it is more forgiving. if u always point ur steering straight n floor it, you will nvr go wrong, which i cannot confirm the same thing happens in real F1 cars coz not driven in 1 before I only tested the game once with my G25 over the weekend- I find something 'strange' with the driving dynamics. Thing is, after GRID I got a bit worried about the realism in Codemaster's game. they probably gotta inject abit of arcade element into it, made the physics a little easier so that it caters for the masses, but all in all it's a nice game to have good fun with. |
