Erm, well sometimes.....i don't think rural girls are that close minded, considering i saw many girls who dropped out from school in rural....because of pregnancy.

I will blame mentality n upbringing~

I know that's the stereotype but once you strip down the layers of superficial labeling of chi ed and eng ed then you'll see that even chi ed have their own personalities which have good quality and reasoning. Only thing is, you have to be patient because they're usually quiet and not used to speaking English and it may take a long time for them to open up to you and show you their real character.

I never consider which education stream...but if she can speak in English and Cantonese/Mandarin, that's good.

I just think from interest and practicality issues...

There's a reason why there are so many variation of mentality and personalities IMHO. Blaming one another is a dangerous hobby.
