Guys do you all have any idea where I can get information regarding scholarships offered by companies ? I dont mind if its bonding cause theres no scholarships which will fund me for my last year in UK for Law. If theres any can you please list them here ?

okie.. thanks! but our STPM only got 4 sub... then for us who only take 4sub... the max is 4As... so we will never get 100% full scholar oledi la... doh.gif nottingham only got 1 a? die lor... sweat.gif

btw, u guys got any reference to write a english essay during interview? how to prepare urself for the interview? got any tips or so?

i think to apply is write letter rite?

actually i not sure when the closing date oso but i think they wil be advertisement on that during february.. so juz relax and wait til they annouce it.. may be if we go to the star education fair will get more info about it oledi.. hehe.. education fair is on 6th n 7th jan at KLCC rite?

IMU, one or two full/partial scholarships.

Unlikely to have any other possible ways to get sponsorship for medicine other than that.

imu requires parents income to be lower than 30k per annum if not wrong. what about tuition grants or study loans?

Fee waivers are given in some universities but I am not sure if it is given to medical students. Even if it is given, it would usually be just a few thousand bucks, hardly any form of assistance. It is a token for your hard work, that's all.

Do not take study loans because it is foolish to do so. you'll end up with a million dollar debt when you are ready to practise. That is of course if you study in the UK or Australia.

Cheaper alternatives are India and Russia, however it is still not advisable to take a loan to study there. How long would it take to pay off RM100k plus interest with the current salary of fresh doctors?

Ya, why not. Somebody told me it is much cheaper to study medicine in Indonesia, but make sure their courses are approved by LAN, JPA ....
