QUOTE(General_Nic @ May 5 2010, 11:13 PM) but can contol up to 16 flash units IINM, n most important is works best with macro flash set-up Err.. Bro.. SU-800 can control virtually infinite numbers of speedlights as long as the speedlights are able to sense the signal from the SU-800when a person have inspiration, where oso can take nice pics, jz my opinion street photography, random building pics, car pics, any seem common until u make an art of it |

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ May 6 2010, 10:59 PM) hehe ya high ISO, commander and AF motor makes it a damn good DSLR. i wonder when will these features trickle down to sub-2k models Hmm... High ISO sensitivity will always be on FF camera... IMO, Nikon are now trying to move towards AF-S lens... U can see that the plan are to take off the AF Motor from all the camera body.. So in the future, we might only focus on higher ISO camera, and commander wise, for strobist la i think.. Haha... (I have a feel that i might get bashing from other forumer...) |

QUOTE(bad melatonin @ May 6 2010, 11:27 PM) Yeah.. If i am using my D40... My ISO will not go over 800.. More than that, gone case... In my D300s, i will try not to go over 800 as well.. Hahaha.. Just to ensure lowest possible noise in the pic... |

QUOTE(fcuk90 @ May 6 2010, 11:35 PM) Choosing on what ISO to shoot is depending on the light source... If under extreme conditions, we got no choice but to bump the ISO higher, if there is an acceptable light source, we can lower the ISO to make sure the pic has the lowest possible noise on it... If u got tripod with u, that will be better, cause long exposure won't be a problem already.. But it depends on what kind of shot u are taking... IIANM, D90 or D5000 will get obvious noise if there is too much white scene in the pic... |

From my experience... Using high speed cards doesn't guarantee the transfer speed from ur cam to the card.. If u got low buffer in ur cam, the high speed card won't compensate the transfer.... like in D40, i use SanDisk Extreme but still, i need to wait for the transfer if i shoot raw..
