QUOTE(noobie1 @ Apr 4 2010, 11:28 AM) yup..i know that..but on entry level body, u guys just cant autofocus with that...and the only choice u guy have is 50mm1.4G and that would cost around 1.8k... answer my question... why u wanna buy lens?? I would use 50mm if there are stationary model or people which i will be shooting... so i can slowly focus lols.... @CloudKee Whats the purpose of your lens?

QUOTE(SkyBlue99 @ Apr 4 2010, 02:38 PM) here's my challenge for u for the year. sell off all ur lens with motor and get all without motor and do manual focus. don't complain me why. just posting a challenge so u will be hardworking to practice manual focus 'kao kao'. report back 1 year later and we can have AF vs MF challenge QUOTE(fcuk90 @ Apr 4 2010, 02:47 PM) turn off The Af on your kitty lense , do it manually , then u know how hard it is. I do manual focus occasionally.. but why both of you so hot

QUOTE(SkyBlue99 @ Apr 5 2010, 11:45 AM) because u dont see canon's lens price drop. the competition is on the dslr body instead of lens right now. Dreaming of 1 day all those sigma, tamron and canon lens will drop price together... then we all happy
what body u using? if D40-D5000 then cheapest 50mm is the 50mm AF-S f1.4, RM1800
using D5000 oh.. cheapest rm1800? haha u're good in joking huh?
He doesn't joking with you... since D5000 dont have build-in motor.. you would have to manual focus with 50mm f1.8 ( Rm3xx ). The 50mm AF-S f1.4 which is rm1800 then can auto-focus with your d5000 body...

QUOTE(SkyBlue99 @ Apr 8 2010, 11:06 PM) dont do it next time ok.. seem more like spam for post count rather than helping out. if u ask the same question as him and people tell you 'check manual' u also sad ma Okay =,=.... Every time i post something wrong, you are always there to correct me LOL I am wondering... how to check the actual length a lens can zoom? Like 55mm equivalent to how much metre of zoom? Is it possible to measure by putting aperture a constant and measure the Dof?
