For me, it's GREAT!!
finally they got the King of Monster (almost) right on the big screen!!

don't get me started on the 1998 nightmare version of horrible giant lizard that I wished I can wipe it out from my memory...
this version is a million times better than that!!

This is a classic take on Japanese giant monster vs monster movie, but the story unfolds mostly from human POV,
starting great, middle pacing a bit slow, and the ending was a real climax!!

4/5 from me for a monster movie
minus 0.5 star for slower pace in mid movie
another 0.5 star for making his supposedly radiation breath underpowered

Plenty of Easter eggs referencing the previous Toho's Godzilla movies

overall is a good monster vs monster movie, enjoyable

definitely worth the imax ticket price
