That trailer literally washed away any bad aftertaste left over from the previous Godzilla.

Holy crap! Most of you here don't understand. Clearly, in order for us to experience awe and wonder, the director wants us to experience the film from the human POV like Jurassic Park or Cloverfield and unlike Pacific Rim. I felt that it was a bold and classy move, it sets itself apart from countless "mass destruction" films.

Having said that.... I don't think it was the best decision for this particular film. The POV styled shots shud have stopped the moment we see Godzilla's foot in the airport. The monster bashing shud have started there.

Bryan Cranston is amazing! Aaron Taylor Johnson with his good looks does not command the screen at all. He has the screen presence of a 90's CRT screen protector.

A disappointment. Not major, but still.....
