They'll be two new monsters created for this new movie called MUTO (Massive Unidentified Target Organism), one male and larger and stronger female which could fly. They both hunt in pairs and were predators of Godzilla since ancient times.

These Mutos must be some pretty bad ass monsters to have Godzilla as its prey.

Remember in the trailer there's this scene where they showed a few origamis and buildings getting destroyed in the background?

The director had said that those things are foreshadowing something.

And recently it was accidentally revealed what it's foreshadowing, spoiler warning,

To everyone who watched on IMAX 3D, was it worth it?

im gonna say this again.

Hollywood never got the Japs series movies adaptation right.

NEVER.

There's a few exception though. Like The Ring (2002) is superior than the Jap version IMO.

Watched it in IMAX 3D yesterday and there was a long 3 minute trailer being played so not sure if thats the one you're referring to.

For Godzilla, I'd say watch it in IMAX because of the big screen and not for the 3D. I hardly notice much of the 3D.

Ugh I wish TGV would start giving option for 2D IMAX for all movies.
Now they're only doing that for movies with no 3D like Skyfall and TDKR.

IMAX is good, but 3D is such a waste. We have no choice since there's no IMAX 2D for most movies.

Honestly thought this was going to be case when they marketed the film. The trailer with Oppenheimer's speech, and even filmmakers said during interviews that Godzilla is going to be wrath of nature that mankind has to suffer as a consequence for shitty treatment of earth.  False advertising to the max. In this they made him into a some some sort of hero, after watching the movie I told myself they should have just given him a cape.

Godilla is japanese. Should give scarf instead of cape tongue.gif
