Well beating this misfiring Madrid side isn't worth to shout about. It helps when they played both the CL game, and the El Clasico game at home. It would have been a different story had they have a draining away match and have to travel again away from home in the league. Although seeing what Madrid put in midfield, it wouldn't matter anyway.

But fact is, our best performances have been in a 433/451/4231 variation with that extra midfielder either playing alongside the other two CMs or just ahead of them. It's not about Rooney being better playing alone compared to him playing with Berbatov, it's what our midfield do in those particular games that dictates the tactics and formation. Tevez-Rooney.. both hardworking yet we still play in a 433 mostly against the big sides. But come the league game, we always play with two strikers. With SAF chasing Benzema last season, signing Owen when that didn't work out and now that Little Pea guy, 442 is still the preferred formation for the other games which is a lot more than those big games. But when it comes to the big games, that extra midfielder will come in place of one of the strikers. Even with Keano at the top of his game we lose out in midfield in Europe. We just have to forget playing with 2 strikers again consistently in those big games.

Guys, do you have any sopcast stream.. preferably in chinese since those would work from the start till the end unlike those with English commentary where halfway through the 1st half you would encounter jerkiness and finally become a picture slideshow rendering the game useless. Help please. Right now on FStv..

Obertan really need to grow some balls. He should have just run at them fullspeed. Instead he took the easy/safe route although by doing just that he released Evra free down the left for that cross.

Would we have been in that position though had we gone with 2 up straight from the off. You know very well the reason we went with 433 for these sort of games.
