haha i din know this thread still alive after i leave it for some time
well i have decided to choose N1 or Desire
not sure which to go yet.
As both r almost the same spec but Desire got FM radio.
Can N1 install an app or get a headset wit FM anthena to use it?

Actually, both phones are twin but from different "mother"..
I don't know and don't wanna know about radio app existence in my phone as long as i have mp3 songs!! icon_rolleyes.gif
But, if I'm at your site, I'll prefer N1 coz variety of custom ROMs are available now.. nod.gif
And how fast updates for firmware released compare to Desire..
just stopping by to give some advice.. nod.gif

lets put it this way, the Iphone never lags because it is doing one task at a time, i.e. no multi-tasking.
while Android can multitask, it also gives satisfactory smoothness.
Hanging, as in not responding is very rare, but slight lag, for example, while scrolling down long texts or phone book happens once in a while.

Sorry man, IPhone 3GS(Non- Jailbroken) does support multitasking.
I can run Street Fighter 4 and making call at the same time.

If I jail break it, I can run Fifa 10 and StreetFighter,Youtube, Safari and Safari at the same time.

Dun mind me adding something....Android doesn't need any task manager/killer unlike the winmo platform. Those tools will somehow make your phone behave oddly ie. alarm not working, etc. Lookup on Android memory management to find out more..

If I were you, I would choose Desire instead of N1 for 2 reasons:

1) warranty problem. N1 can only be purchased online hence if there is anything happen to N1, sending back for repair can be quite troublesome.

2) I heard that N1 has the screen crack issue. But I can't quite remember the details already. Please google it.

However, I do not study much about Desire so it may have some flaws, so would be better if you can ask around.

hope that helps.

Yup. Some blogger blogged about the screen cracking due to extremely high heat coming from the USB slot while charging. Not sure what the causes are but if handle with care, I don't think it'll get worse until that extent. LOL
