I think it should be part of sports package.
I wonder if the world cup is available in SD also.

QUOTE(victorwan @ Apr 30 2010, 02:23 PM) Yeah !!! You are RIGHT !!! May be they plan to move Sportscenter to ESPN News?Sports Package is suppose to let us see, watch and enjoy the SPORT GAMES and not always listening to the NEWS!!! I am not sure how ESPNEWS programs are but hopefully not just news and news and news all the time. On ESPN, we have already got ESPN SportsCenter Asia and also SportsCenter Malaysia plus StarSports news also. At the end, all the news contents are the same at all. |

Astro to unveil B.yond PVR
QUOTE One of us got a call this morning from Astro asking whether we wanted to upgrade to the new Astro B.yond Personal Video Recorder. This wasn't some crank call as we've definitely got the invite for the upcoming launch of the product on June 1. What's puzzling is that at the original launch of Astro B.yond HD service, Astro execs stated that the regular B.yond set-top box could actually be upgraded via firmware and, with the addition of an external USB hard disk, be turned into a personal video recorder as well. So with the launch of the PVR, we're wondering whether this feature will still be enabled in the regular Astro B.yond box. More details on this as we await an official response. Hope the new PVR will be more friendly and problem free unlike the current AstroMax.

QUOTE(AjkR06 @ May 26 2010, 12:12 PM) I'm pretty sure that Astro actually wanna make 2 version of HD decoder.... It did say the Byond can have the recording function, right? The PVR will have 2 tuners and internal HDD but Byond is external HDD with one tuner. Both can record.Just like older SD version, one is normal version, other one are equipped with PVR functions (astro max).... so, now like this, Byond is normal version and the other one which schedule to be launch this 1st June, the PVR version (probably the name will be Byond Max)... Yes, it's pretty confusing now..... but now, already "lain".... So, what's the confusing part? |
